"Nice, but beware the train and traffic noise!"

This La Quinta provided us with a nice, clean comfy, room. However the motel is situated near the train tracks and those tracks are busy all day and all night. We heard the train whistles blow many times during the night and they are loud! We also heard the traffic from the nearby freeway. Thus, we did not get a good nights sleep because of all the noise.
If you do stop here (they have a wonderful pet policy...no extra fee!) at least ask for a room that doesn't face the tracks or freeway...perhaps those rooms might be a little less noisy.
We stayed here for one night with our pets. Room was comfortable and rates reasonable. For some the fact that there is a railroad yard across the street could be a distraction, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal. It was neat to see the trains, and noise didn't seem bothersome at all. We stayed at a few other properties on our trip, and this hotel was average. Good place for a night's rest.
I stayed at this hotel for work and stayed for a month. Guest dryers are broken and when asking several times when they would be fixed they would say "tomorrow" it was never fixed, asked for a fridge for the room, they DON'T HAVE ANY! How do u not have fridges available? Breakfast is junk only hot items is waffles and toast. Hotel staff isn't really interested in being helpful at all. They claim the hotel has been renovated.... I was never able to see what exactly they were talking about everything is old minus the tv. DON'T STAY HERE
Been staying with La Quinta since the other motels seem to lack in ALL areas of service. La Quinta is always friendly, very clean and offer great price values for their rooms and continental breakfast. Definitely a return customer.........
These rooms got the La Quinta overhaul but the room smelled badly like smoke. I didn't hear the train at all and, as always, the dogs stay free. There was parking for our rig as well. There is also a restaurant in the parking lot.
