"Great rooms, great service and price"

My office is in Dublin Corporate Center so we use the hotel for staff and visitors. We have positive review form all and I appreciate the upgrades thy give me from Imelda to time. We average four nights per month.
The room was actually pretty pleasant, the staff is very nice. The roomstaff forgot to empty my bathroom wastebasket after the guest before me left, but all in all, serviceable with decent location and free wifi and breakfast. Its kind of pricey in comparison with the other places in the area so shop....
We spent 3 nights at La Quinta, Dublin-Pleasanton and could not have been more pleased with our stay.. We were in town to visit family and the location of the hotel is very convenient to the 580 freeway. The rooms are very clean, updated and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of items and there is coffee available all the time. The layout of the hotel is very inviting and it has a lovely atmosphere. We are also impressed that it is a "dog friendly" hotel. Dogs stay for free and there is even a "pet area" in the back of the hotel so "no worries" about where to walk your dog. The price is also very reasonable for the accommodations. We also discovered that the hotel has an excellent "lost and found" policy in place -- we accidentally left a small bag in our room and when we called the hotel the next day, we found out that it was safely in their lost and found. They even offered to ship it to us but we had a family member who was able to pick it up for us. We definitely plan to stray there again when we are in the area.
LaQuinta in Dublin was pleasant and clean. The young woman who checked us in was very nice and very professional. She was also the person at the desk when we checked out 4 days later. Rooms were very nice and breakfast area was exceptionally nice. However, since we were there 4 nights it would have been nice to have more variety in the menu. Every day the hot food was waffles, sausage and biscuits. Would have been nice to have eggs or bacon or something else for a change of pace.
Walking distance to the Bart was great since we were going downtown San Fran most days.
Our major concern was that we requested adjoining rooms since there were six of us and instead we had one room on first floor and one on third floor. The nice young lady at the desk assured us that the next night we would have the adjoining rooms on third floor so the next morning before heading into the city we moved all our luggage to the third floor to our friends room. We checked at the desk before we left and they again assured us of the change. The maid was almost finished cleaning the room that we assumed would be ours. We left for the city and when we
returned late that night we found we were back in our first floor room. When we went to the desk the girl apologized but couldn't make the changes. She also was answering the phone while talking to us and talking to the young man behind us instead of dealing with the situation. We gave up and once again moved our luggage with no offer of help from the staff. The next morning we asked to talk to the manager and were told the manager would not be available till 11:00 am and we would be in the city by that time. We remained in that room the rest of our stay. When we checked out we expressed our concerns to the pleasant young lady that had been at the desk when we arrived and she was very professional and apologized for the problem.
She said that she had made it very clear to the staff that we were to be changed starting the
second night of our visit and would be talking to the manager regarding the situation.
We enjoyed our stay regardless and hope that management will solve the problems so that others won't have the same situation.
At the suggestion of a friend, we decided to try this instead of our usual Oakland/Alameda. He always stays at Dublin LaQuinta. Nice hotel, nice weather and reasonable price. Two short drives to Pleasanton Old Town were nice. Drive to Oakland was about 30 minutes. BART is very close and seems like a quick, reasonable way to get to SF Embarcadero and some Giants' games. Didn't feel as confined in Dublin. Next time, we will see more of this inland area.
