Everything about this property was great. Front desk staff was professional, helpful and cheerful. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was yummy. Distance to Orlando, well let's just say you could walk, but for $6 you could take a cab and avoid the expensive parking at the park. Property was even pet friendly, eventhough you could not tell. Overall, it was probably one of the best properties I've stayed at in Orlando in a long time.
This hotel was EXCELLENT! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the facility was neat and clean and we were just minutes away from Universal Parks and City Walk (about a $6 cab ride). They offer shuttle service to all the major parks, the hotel is about 20 minutes away from Downtown Disney. The breakfast was good too.
This hotel is pet friendly, and they don't charge extra for bringing your pet, which is awesome. We didn't know, so we had to board our dog. All pet rooms are on the 1st floor (which makes it easy to walk your dog at night in their big parking lot in the back of the hotel), but if someone has major allergies, it's something to consider. We stayed on the 3rd floor and really would've never found out there were pets.
Overall, amazing experience and I'll never stay anywhere else from now on.
This La Quinta is the best of the four in the International Drive/Universal Studios area. It's within walking distance to the Universal entrance and a great location for good low and mid-priced restaurants. One of Orlando's top sports bars that welcomes families is nearby. We enjoyed an exceptionally comfortable stay.
Great 3 night stay...super friendly & helpful staff, smoke-free hotel, comfortable, clean, microwave & fridge in room, flat screen TV, couch & desk in the room, location close proximity to dining & shopping, shuttle to parks, would definitely return!
This was a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. The bed provided one of the more comfortable nights sleep I have had in a long time during a hotel stay.
Then staff were friendly and willing to accomodate any request I had.
I had an excellent visit and the breakfast was nice. All my expectations were met.
