A La Quinta traveler |
This La Quinta is the best one I've stayed at. Entirely non-smoking property is great. Pet friendly, although I didn't bring my dog this time. Very clean and quiet rooms. Walking distance to many restaurants. Close to freeway access. Downside - all those restaurants mean traffic in the area can be heavy especially in the evenings and weekends.
This hotel was clean, comfortable, and an excellent value for the price. Comfortable beds, attractive landscaping and pool area, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Good breakfast with plenty of seating space. Would definitely recommend.
I stayed here 2 nights for a business trip. My room was clean, spacious, & the bed was comfortable. Staff was courteous. That, plus its location, is about all that recommends itself in this hotel. The breakfast wasn't anything to scoff at (it consisted of bread/bagels, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, and waffles). And the gym... might as well get rid of the equipment. The machines look like they hadn't been updated since the 80's and they looked like they were going to fall apart. A couple didn't even turn on. This hotel is in definite need of updating. Honestly... I would probably not stay here again if I had a choice.
This hotel was very nice outside & inside. Desk staff during the day were very friendly and helpful. Easy check in. Reservations correct. Room was clean but warm. Turned a/c down to cool room off and went to visit family. Came back at 11pm. Very warm to hot room. Didn't rest well.Talked with front desk help the next morning. Maintenance man came immediately to check a/c out. Couldn't find a problem. Offered to move me to another room, but was told ALL rooms had motion detectors with their a/c, so stayed in same room. Put a/c down to 63, room only got down to 68, much better than previous night. I also need gluten free food, which was soooo limited that I went out for breakfast both mornings. They only had apples, oranges, boiled eggs, juice & coffee. My son, who was in another room, had to get my receipt after I checked out on Sunday at 630a, because no one was at the desk & I needed to be at the airport by 7am.Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom clean & well stocked.
The place needs better supervision not enough staff and front desk clerk takes care of breakfast. Halls were dirty. Tv in king room of to the side can't watch in bed. Prior guest luggage left in room after maid cleaned.
