Coming from Brazil, I stayed for a week on this hotel! It is very well located near the Dolphin Mall and International mall, but it is far from downtown. The room had a good size, king bed, clean and with pool view.
We received several packages without any issue, they keep control of everything they receive and don't charge anything for that.
The hot tub wasn't working and the breakfast was a shame, very few items, really didn't look as a hotel breakfast.
Reasonable price, no problems, seemed safe, clean, and kept up. Its an older hotel but appears to be well kept up and clean. We stayed there as we were visiting someone in the area. If I had to stay in that general area for business I would stay at this hotel again.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, May 4-8 2013. It's a nice place to stay in, at least our room was nice, clean and quiet. The hotel is around 30 mins from Miami Beach, and has a good connection to local highways, so commuting shouldn't be a problem. Service is good, and we didn't hear planes flying over in the night, though I saw some comments on that.
This is not Ritz Carlton, but the place is clean and nice, and I'd definitely stay at this hotel again should I visit Miami on budget.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. This was the last night of our vacation and it ended on a sour note. First thing the front desk staff was not friendly. Got to our room walked in and the maids had not finished cleaning our room and had just left it . So we had to find a maid to come in and finish cleaning it. Next there were no wash clothes so we had to call down and have them send us some. Air conditioner was not cooling room. Had to sleep with no covers cause it was so hot. Sheets had stains on them. Breakfast could have been alot better. Pool and Hot tub was very dingy.
Great Hotel, breakfast could be better, close to airport, good pool. Service and personal exceptional acttitude. Shuttle to airport. Spacious room. My A/C was not working and they give us a 50% discount
