Having to attend a conference in Tampa on a limited budget, I opted for a vacation package on priceline. For $900, I ended up with 8 nights in this hotel, a rental car and a round trip air ticket from Ohio. If I had stayed at a downtown hotel, the price of the room alone would have been over $1000 for the week. The commute is only 12 minutes during rush hour....an easy drive with only a few turns. This hotel was adequate, though for the period of time, it was what it was....no frills, thus became a little tiring. Very clean. The front desk service is as good as any I have received at 4 or 5 star hotels in other parts of the country/world. The breakfast is brought in from off site, thus they have a tendency to run out of some foods during busy times. Breakfast consists of prepackaged waffles (actually very good), basic bagels, prepackaged muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, hot and cold cereal packets and of course, beverages. The motel is also located next to an IHOP, which is open 24 hours. The bathrooms are very small. The rooms are clean and the mattress is comfortable...not a 'sleep number' but very comfortable. The backside of the motel faces the bac didn't see any, I would assume there were other "friends" present. Garbage needs to be picked up more often! No mechanical problems at all with the room...A/C worked fine, tv has over 25 channels including free Showtime. Newer carpet and up to date decor. While located near the airport, it was amazingly quiet most of the time. All in all, I'd recommend it. Would I stay here again for a conference? I'd certainly consider it, depending on my financial situation. Would I stay for a brief stay, such as catching a cruise, etc? Without question.

It's nice to have a pleasant place to smoke outside. One morning we had the entire pool area and hot tub to ourselves. Even though our room looked out onto the pool area it was very quiet. Some rooms have mini fridge but not all. Will stay here again.

I have stayed at this La Quinta several times with the last time just a few days ago. I have always been happy with it. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The pool and hot tub were nice. They had a decent breakfast; not elaborate but with enough variety to please most people. They had the usual bagels and muffins and cereal with hot make your own waffles. They also had hard boiled eggs. I always appreciate when they have a protein available as many do not. I travel to this area a couple of times a year and will probably stay here again.

We planned this trip to visit friends in Tampa and our stay at La Quinta was excellent. We loved the 600 thread count sheets on the beds. We slept great at night. We toke our 7lb. miniature Pomeranian dog on this trip and no extra charge per night for her. We will definitely stay here again in future.

A much better hotel that accepts dogs for a great price, since they remodeled last year. We have stayed here a few times, much better now. Great location for USF events, easily accessible from I75. Close to Busch Gardens, there is a second La Quinta about a mile away this one is much much nicer. Very happy and helpful staff.
