A La Quinta traveler |
Outstanding!! The room was very clean & quiet. The evening clerk that check us in was very nice and helpful, overall he ensure our stay was a rememberable. He pass on his experience in the areas and how the city has grown. Again, special thanks to Mr. Benrv.
Everything was nice and clean ..the employees were very courteous and helpful. The outside pool and whirlpool were clean and comfortable. The water was hot in the hot tub..whirlpool and that was great. My only complaint about the hotel is that they did not have any safe deposit boxes at the desk. They were out of order...what ever that means. I had called and asked the booking agency if this hotel had the boxes..as I would need one. They said the hotel had the security boxes. If the hotel does not have these in working order they should notify the booking agencies of the amenties that are not available at the hotel. This was a great inconvenience to me...and caused problems with carrying valuables and information and documents with me during the entire stay. I was ill at ease to say the least.
The property is a good location, it seemed overall clean and the staff was friendly. The main reason I wouldn't stay here again is the noise isolation. You can see light through the room connector doors and hallway doors and hear every word spoken even at sub normal levels in the other room. When the toilet is flushed, it's as loud as the one in your room. The breakfast selection was okay, I have had better variety, especially fresh fruit appeared to be absent. The room was clean, but felt a bit sparsely decorated. There were stains on the head board and the ceiling. Good news, there was no smell to the room at all. The beds were very comfortable, that was a plus. The main reason I picked this location is that they allow dogs, but with the noise level, if there was a barking one in the neighboring room, it would be quite regretful. Good thing ours is not a barker.
We stayed here on our first trip to PCB & it was a nice hotel. Room was clean & bed was comfy. It was right off the hwy so it was easy getting out of PCB with all the traffic from the holiday weekend. Would stay again but they were booked for memorial weekend so we booked a room at the Wyndham.

If you like to hear dogs barking incessantly, then this is the place for you! I'm not sure if there is a dog show here this weekend, but there could be. It's incredible to me how inconsiderate some dog owners are. The dogs barked all night long.
The staff seems nice and helpful and the room was clean, but there was a foul odor in the hall. Maybe the smell comes from all the dogs.
Next time I'll choose a place that does not allow pets. My mistake that I will not make again.
