Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! Check-in was super easy and the desk clerk was beyond friendly! Every staff member I encountered during my stay had a superb attitude! They were all extremely friendly and I even witnessed staff interacting with children of guests. They went above and beyond to make the family feel welcomed. Our room was on the 4th floor of the hotel, upon arriving on the floor the hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, however the room had no trace of the smell. The room was pretty clean and extremely well laid out. There was plenty of room to move around and we did not feel cramped at all like most hotels. For a hotel, the beds were extremely comfortable, they were on the small size though (two full beds). The hotel was kind of out of the way for what I was in town for but the location was quiet. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Plano/IKEA. The hotel does have a continental breakfast, there were no hot items (eggs, sausage, etc.) but there was fresh waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, etc. Overall it was a great hotel and I would stay there again.
Great hotel for the price. The rooms are big. Bed are a little small for teenagers and adults. Clean, comfortable, friendly. The breakfast is your basic continental. The pool area is very nice. Good location for shopping and restaurants.
If you looking for a no hassle, excellent experience.
If you prefer to deal with incompetence and inferior service you will just have to mosey on down the road, this is not the spot for you. Sorry.
They will have to be overbooked for me not to stay here on my next visit. Really hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot with this.
I came to Plano to visit family and was not expecting to stay in a hotel. Chose La Quinta after reading other positive reviews and it really lived up to expectations. Very clean rooms, super comfortable beds, excellent value for money. Other reviews mentioned that the hotel was noisy - I did not experience that. Convenient location, helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

I will always plan to stay at this hotel in all my travels...it was nice to have a small refrigerator and coffee pot like the extended stays.. I usually do not sleep as well...most hotels I wake up with my back hurting.... The bess were soft and they used a light fluffy down blanket, which was wonderful... Everything was clean... The small couch was very comfortable...the room was set up comfortably with the couch at the end of the bed close enough to the tv...good room service.. I just can't tell you how wonderful the manager was.... They need to duplicate him or be sure and have him train others...I could go on and on..
