We have a daughter staying in a hospital in the area and we wanted to bring her kitty for her birthday. I shopped around and most of the others had an additional pet fee per night - if they allowed pets at all. Pets are completely free here. Our daughter was so happy to be able to see her kitty and her kitty adjusted very well to the room. They gave us a good deal since she is staying in the hospital as well. The location was really nice easy of on the freeway. Only 2 negative things. I wish they had a better hot breakfast. I got sick of waffles over the week long stay. Also, my teenage boy was very frustrated in the slow internet since his Netflix didn't stream very fast unless he was in the lobby. I love the decor! It was a nice place to return after emotional hospital visit. Slept well too.
Great location for first-time Provo visitors or Returners. Easy access to I-15, major shopping/dining locations and BYU campus. Every staffer I met made a point of greeting me and offering assistance. This was my 2nd extended stay at this Inn and recommend it highly to anyone.

I come to the annual Women's Conference every spring and decided this year to stay in a hotel overnight. I chose this La Quinta Inn and I was extremely disappointed.
First if all, the price gouging is EXTREME, in my opinion downright dishonest! They charged me $140 for my room, when I saw a billboard advertising rooms for $75. But because they know they can get away with it, they charged me $140!!
As soon as we stepped out of the elevator, the stench of cigarette smoke was severe. Hoping and praying it wouldn't be as bad in our room, we went in; it WAS as bad. The room was extremely smelly. We tried putting a towel in front of the door crack but that didn't help. We called the office to complain but were told there were no other rooms. We spent the night feeling ill and finding it hard to breathe, then woke up with a headache.
Upon turning our keys in and advising the boy at the counter of our horrible stay, he said the best he could do was offer me a $20 discount to stay next year!!! Seriously?? Gee, thanks.
I will never stay here again and I will never recommend it to anyone else. Very irritated and disappointed.
My husband and I travel a lot and have become wary of hotels because of several bad experiences. When we booked our room, with such a low price, we weren't expecting much. However, when we walked into the beautiful lobby, our hopes rose. We got into our room and literally giggled with amazement. Our room was HUGE! For being a single-king room, there was a ton of space, it was very clean, and welcoming. We absolutely recommend staying here and wil always book here when in the Orem-Provo area.
This hotel was disgusting!!! I was extremely disappointed. I left after the first night. My room stunk, there was hair in the bathroom, gum in the carpet, and there wasn't even any garbage liners in the cans. There was even gum on the floor in the elevator. My 10yo daughter who shouldn't know any different, made the comment of how gross it was within the first 5 minutes. I will never stay there again.
