The staff, the bed, breakfast, pool... Everything was awesome. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is not often that you find a WHOLE hotel full of wonderful staff, but this La Quinta has done something right because I was amazed at the overall experience!
I've stayed here twice now, and both times ended up stuck with a smoking room despite my reservation for a non-smoking room. I think from now on I am going to only book hotels that feature 100% non-smoking rooms, to avoid this issue. With that said, the front desk was friendly and apologetic and offered to move me to another hotel, but I stayed here because the location was perfect for where I needed to be.
Rooms were clean and above average for a budget property, and quiet as well, which is a big deal to me. Didn't use the pool or breakfast feature, but everything else was in working order. Only complaint is the smoking situation.
We booked this hotel because we needed a hotel room pre-cruise and the rates were very reasonable, much lower than hotels located closer to the cruise port.
The hotel was undergoing renovations in certain rooms, but this did not affect our stay at all. Hotel and room were clean and neat and service was good.
When we arrived to check in, the desk clerk was tied up with another customer for about 5-10 minutes and because of us having to wait to check in, our room was discounted $20, even though we weren't at all upset at having to wait.
We will stay here again next time we cruise out of Fort Lauderdale.
This hotel is a very good value with outstanding employees. The pool area is very nice. There is a small fitness room and a very nice continental breakfast .Bagels that look and taste like bakery not package along with hot waffles. Nice 32 inch tv and a recliner in the room. Numerous food outlets and gas stations walking distance fron this hotel. Not very far from the airport. We will stay here again.
Beds are amazing, tv's very new, restrooms need some remodeling but very clean. Staff was excellent only problem i had was with the room keys be prepared to make extra stops to the front desk and end up with 3 or 4 cards. Breakfast was okay they should honestly upgrade to hot breakfast and location is excellent I-95 is right around the corner literally. Overall.a good stay and experience definitely would go back, staff is full of awesome and friendly young people!
