First time stay at this hotel. Lobby and reception area nice. The carpet in our room and hallways needed a good cleaning and the bed was uncomfortable. Neither of us slept well and having to get up at 4:30am it made for a long travel day. With some cleaning and upgrades, would be better. Very close to airport.

Thankfully I only had to stay there one night! The "non-smoking" room wreaked of cigarette smoke and there was no option to change. Walls are very thin so I could hear everything that was going on next door. Property is old and grungy. Very disappointed as prior la Quinta experience has been wonderful.

This motel was the third La Quinta that we have stayed at in the last three weeks, we spent our 5th, 6th, and seventh nights at this location..as soon as we got to our room, we turned the tv on but could not get it to work, so we had to call the front desk to have them fix it, Not more than ten minutes later I plugged my curling iron into the bathroom outlet and discovered it did not work either. Again I called the front desk to ask for assistance. A man came to our room and said he needed to replace the entire outlet, and oh by the way he said, your hair dryer doesn't work either, but I will be here first thing in the morning to replace it too. He did not come the next morning to fix it so I had no dryer to use after I got out of the shower, twice the next day I went to the front desk to remind them that no one had come to replace the hair dryer. The following evening, another man came to our room and replaced the dryer/ That first evening when I looked under the bed for my slipper, I noticed a full bottle of water, a pen, and some Kleenex under the bed..none of which were from our stay there. Also on one lower side of the toilet, some brown liquid had leaked and had not been cleaned up. The second day we were at tis motel, the housekeeper did not even make the bed. Needless to say the experience was a huge disappointment. Had this been my first trip to a La Quinta, it would have been my last.

My cousin in a distant city made the reservation for us online and paid with her credit card. Nothing on the website said we needed that card to check in and the email receipt said paid. It also did not flag a problem because the reservation was in my name and the name on the card is different. We arrived about 7pm, after the time the reservation cannot be cancelled and the website said the card would be charged no matter what. But he would not let us have the room without her filling out some papers and sending them back but she was in her car driving home from work when we called. He would not accept her verbal statement or our copy of the email confirmation and made us pay again with our limited remaining cash, claiming it was company policy. We had no such problems in other La Quintas the nights before and after. His business card says he has an MBA, but he does not know the first thing about service and how to treat a customer! He ruined our visit to what otherwise would have been the nicest stop of the 3 day trip. Best breakfast.

Room was great!.. If you're running the Oklahoma City Marathon pick this hotel!...There was a shuttle across the street from hotel that got me there.. Just look for the banners all across Meridian Avenue..Plenty of restaurants to choose from too!...Staff was also great!...They helped me get to Expo & even printed me a map!...La Quinta Inn in Oklahoma City is " ALL THE GO"!
