Stayed for the NHRA race! Clean,reasonably priced and 20 minutes to the race track! Everyone was really friendly and they had no problem when we split the bill up from original reservations. Pet friendly also!
Long day on the road, late late arrival.... The service by phone and the greeting by the desk manager were wonderful. The room was ready, exactly as described online, clean, cooled well; the bathroom was clean and fresh; and the sleep was great. Between the room and the phone service and the friendliness of the front desk staff this was an incredible stay. Yes, I would stay here again! Yes, I recommend this hotel!
We were traveling from Virginia back home to Pensacola, FL and stopped at the Tennessee Welcome Center, asked the lady about a hotel nearby. She said she heard many compliments on the Kingsport Laquinta, I asked her to call and check availability. We were not disappointed, from the person checking us in to the person that handled the breakfast and throughout our stay. This hotel is very clean and the personnel are very accommodating. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we are in this area.
Hotwire rate was very good. Somehow, Hotwire neglected to relay the '1 adult, 2 children' part of my reservation and had us in a room with a single king bed. The pleasant lady at the desk fixed it seamlessly and without question or additional charge. Good, clean, hot shower. Bed was fine. Room was spotless. There's a lot of hotel properties in this area, my guess is that this place will be available at a great rate through various travel sites, particularly during 'non-event' weekends. You won't regret a stay here, especially when you realize you saved a few bucks.
Needed a hotel in this area that accepted pets. La Quinta satisfied that requirement. Hotel was clean and hotel staff were friendly. This was not the first La Quinta I have stayed in, however it was one of the smallest rooms I have had. Maybe it was because we had a pet, but it didn't seem like it was of the same quality as other La Quinta hotels. The bathroom was very small and the sink was located in the sleeping area. I will not be staying in this La Quinta again, would rather spend another 30 minutes on the road to find another hotel on my next trip to Fort Campbell from Virginia Beach.
