A La Quinta traveler |
My stay at your hotel ranked number 1 for worst hotel experience in a La Quinta inn. Two hours prior to arriving I called to find out about the cribs and see if they had any available. The front desk person said she didn't know and that I should just call back in 30 - 60 min. This was the start to poor customer service. I then called back an hour later to find that she still didn't have the answer. After waiting on hold for 5 min. she responded that they have them.
Upon arrival I had to wait 10 min while the guy that worked at the front desk flirted and hung out with a bunch of girls in the breakfast area. I then requested a crib be sent to my room. After an hour of waiting for a crib I called the front desk and requested the crib again. After another hour I called the front desk and re-requested the crib. Each time they said they would send one up. They never sent one up.
Our room had no bathroom supplies.
I have never been so disappointed in La Quinta.
When visiting family, I have started staying at La Quinta North near McCarren airport. That way, I can take an early flight out and not have to drive myself to the airport.

La Quinta Inn (LQ) is not the Ritz Carlton. When I go to an LQ location I know that I will find a clean, safe, good value room, in a somewhat convenient location. The Las Vegas Airport N LQ location is no exception. The staff and accommodations are adequate, but not superb. As previously stated in other reviews the layout of this particular hotel is somewhat different and spaced out and can be inconvenient. However, there are signs inside to guide you and the staff will provide you a small layout of the grounds so you can find your room with a little extra effort. My particular room had a clean newer microwave and refrigerator that would work for a short stay, but would not hold a grocery run by a family of four. The hotel is located within walking distance of at least one hotel/casino and is only a mile or so from the ?strip.? Overall, if you are looking for a good value on a safe, clean room then La Quinta is always a good bet. If you are looking for pet friendly then La Quinta is always a good bet. If you are looking for the vacation of a lifetime or to impress your significant other, you might want to think about looking elsewhere.
If you are traveling with pets or want to stay near the strip at an incredibly inexpensive rate, this hotel is for you! My dogs absolutely loved it! The location is centrally located on the strip. The carpets are pretty dingy/dirty, but our bed was clean and the breakfast was yummy! It is hard enough to book a hotel with more than one dog without paying nearly hundreds of dollars in fees. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night and spent less than $150 for everything. Wow!
Nice clean place for travelers with pets. You can't beat the price. I checked every hotel chain in LV, everyone else comes in second. They are close to the strip, convention, airport and all the action.
