We arrive there and the workers in the front office are very rude and just horrible people that don't want to be there. Our first room lights didn't work. So we asked them to move us into another room! Found a HUGE cockroach on the daaam floor!??!! We also ask for the room to be cleaned in a note and they didn't even clean the roach or fix the beds. We also asked for more blankets and the front desk was very rude! And I come back go a TON OF BUG BITES ON MY LEGS!!!!!!! Everyone in the room got them! By far the worst hotel I have ever been to! I'd rather go to motel 6 to be honest!

Excellent accommodations! Rooms are clean; Breakfast choices are excellent. Walking distance to several sites of interest. And the Staff is extremely pleasant and friendly, IF you need any assistance, they are very helpful too.

Check in was quick. The bed and sheets were clean. Staff was friendly. The carpet on the other hand was filthy. My son walked across the carpet for a short bit and our feet were black as can be. I would stay here again but watch my step. :-)

I usally wear shoes when staying in hotels, never putting my bear feet on the carpet BUT I jumped out of bed quickly when I had a sharp pain in my toe. Grab it to find a nail clipping stuck in my toe. On further envestigation found the rug behind the night stand was really bad with built up dead skin. It had not been vaccumed for a very long time. DICUSTING. The bath tub was awfull, very old, paint wore off. There are much nicer La Quinta's than this one. It should not have the name.Almost makes me rethink about staying at La Quinta's

Monica at the front desk is awful. We came in around 1am (which is late but not super obnoxious) and she said she couldn't rent us a room for 45 mins because she was running her reports. Because part of our group was staying there we decided to wait. Big mistake. After the 45 min anti-room-renting period (that she said occurs every night?), we were told it would be $74 while our friends room were only $54/night so if at 2 am you still have rooms available the law of supply and demand should reason that the rooms would be less expensive as the chance of renting them for the night is getting lower and lower. Then if we wanted the AAA discount it would actually increase the nightly rate and then give us a discount. No kidding this lady tried to convince us that a discount increases the typical price....what a scam artist. She then told us she couldn't take payment at that time...why? But as we were a little frustrated by this pt and told her she would take it now or never, she was suddenly able to process the payment, when just seconds before there was no possible way for her to do a cash transaction. Not to mention the hotel itself is pretty gross, huge group of homeless sit outside between the hotel and gas station. Don't go there!
