We were very pleased with the clean room, quick check-in and complimentary breakfast. I really liked the make-your-own waffles. Delicious! Bed was comfortable and the decor was fresh and updated. We would definitely stay here again if back in New Orleans.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Equipped with mini-fridge, microwave and desk with plenty of plugs for chargers, etc. The breakfast bar downstairs was well stocked, clean and was maintained by a delightful woman who was helpful to everyone. Close to the airport but little or NO plane noise. Staff was attentive and gracious. No hidden charges and was a good value.....will definitely be back.

Very nice place to stay. Normally, good value if no festivals going on in city. It is a very clean place. We usually travel with our small dog, and the hotel is pet friendly. The breakfast was good. We will stay here again, and we travel to N.O. at least 4 or 5 times per year.
Spent the weekend while attending our friends wedding and was very happy with the room and service. We stayed in a King Suite and was very pleased with the size and layout. The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of pillows and the room was very quiet. It had been 11 years since staying at this hotel so we were not sure what to expect but was not disappointed at all. When we first got in our room, we noticed there was no shower curtain. It took less than 20 minutes for them to bring one up. While there, the maintenance man also fixed our door handle that was really tight to lock. There's not much to choose from for the breakfast but there is a great restaurant across the street that you can walk to. Will definetly make this our place to stay while visiting our family and friends in that area.
As others have stated, La Quintas are all over the quality map. A couple of La Quintas have been among our worst travel nightmares while a couple of others have been among our best price/quality combos. Seemingly there are no frnachise-brand standards. The result is that we generally avoid this chain.
This is a "good" La Quinta. Regardless of what some others have said, both our room and the lobby area were certainly clean enough. The room was small but for us - a bed for the night after a late arrival from the east coast and prior to a road trip - it was just fine. Mattress could have been firmer. Bathroom had a very "Euro" feel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only real downside is that it is located in a very rough neighborhood.
I would have to say that given its location and the room size, it needed a slightly lower price to make us completely happy campers. However, it was competitive with the other "airport" hotels. Recommended.
