Wonderful place to stay! Rooms clean, staff polite and helpful. And we plan on returning next year and will be staying at LaQuentia, Slidell, LA. Close to expressway. The pool area was beautiful. The contenial breakfast was very notice.
It will be well worth it to stay at this hotel. Clean room, great food and easy to find. We will be coming back next year.
We traveled here from Nashville for a short family reunion. After not being home since Katrina we were surprised at the care that went into making this hotel look great. No weird smells at all.
We have stayed here several times while visiting family in the New Orleans area. It has always been very clean, well run, and quiet despite it's access to nearby I-10. There is a very nice pool surrounded by tropical landscaping in the central courtyard. There are a number of good restaurants and fast food places nearby, and a large Walmart only a half mile down the service road for anything you might have forgotten to bring.
About 45 miles from New Orleans International Airport, the hotel is a great place to stay when driving to visit New Orleans. Located next to the I-10 on a one-way service road near x266, it is difficult to find and return to the hotel after nightfall. Dining within a few blocks includes Ruby Tuesday, Texas Roadhouse and Outback. A Wal-mart and Lowes is also blocks away. Hotel shows its age and wear. The front door needed to be weatherstripped, sanded and repainted as it let a noticeable draft into the room.
Furnished nicely, though the beds are okay but not that good. Breakfast was good and competitive with the other major chains. Rooms were clean, though in the bathrooms the corners and where the bottom of the walls meet the floor could use a deep cleaning.

Ads said it was refurbished...didn't say when. Nice enough for the price, but...
Refrigerator not working upon arrival. Apparently someone previous had changed the location of the plug. Fixed immediately by the maintenance staff. Breakfast OK...but, NO real COffee!!! Starbucks right next door...whew! Staff and room attendant very courteous and helpful. Overall...good value and clean. nice pool area, some folks tried it...a little chilly for me though.
