"Not worth it"

This hotel needs a major makeover. The outside is old, dirty and uninviting. Our room was on the ground floor and appeared to be newly decorated but the bed linen was disgraceful! It had old stains on the sheets and the top covers had clearly not been changed between guests. The bathroom fixtures were falling off the wall and the air conditioner was so loud it woke us up at ten minute intervals throughout the night.
Breakfast choices were limited and the coffee was not available of one of the days because the machine had broken.
Front desk staff seemed unconcerned and disinterested in customer satisfaction. I felt they would have picked a fight with me if I'd allowed it. Our room was cleaned at 5pm on Day 2 - housekeeping were clearly overwhelmed and trying to do a good job. I'm not sure our room would have been cleaned that day had I not asked.
Not worth the money and I would not recommend anyone staying here. It definitely should not have La Quinta name.
Not as nice as other LaQuinta's that we have stayed in! There was an empty pillowcase draped across one bed which had a missing pillow on that bed while the other bed had 3 pillows! Took the pillowcase down to the front desk because I didn't want them charging me for a missing pillow! The water took 15 min to drain from the tub. Our carpet was dirty. Nice location, great AC in the room, but was a little disappointed with the overall appearance of the room! A couple of homeless people were begging us for money from a nearby parking lot!
Many of the reviews say this hotel is absolutely terrible but that just is not the case. My girlfriend and I stayed here so we could walk to the baseball game at Coors Field. When we arrived about 11 they did not have a room ready but they allowed us to park at the motel and store our bags inside until after the game. The staff was very friendly. The outside of the motel was kind of run down along with the pool and could use some work and cleaning. The room was pretty nice. There were 3 problems i noticed. The shower rod ends were rusted and need replaced. The deadbolt lock in our room didn't appear to work. But the main problem was the noise in the room. All the doors our outside and ours was just above the pool and we could here everything happening outside of our room. Many reviews mention the train stain behind the hotel however I only heard it once. I did feel safe with the walk to and from the stadium and I did knot ice a security guard at night at the hotel so safety was not a problem.
This is a great value if you want to visit Denver to see a Rockies game, since it's a simple walk to the field. My son and I felt safe making the walk, as there are plenty of other baseball fans, and plenty of lights.
Parking was tight, but we always could find a spot. There is a Starbucks just a couple minutes walk away.
Also, hotel has quick and easy access to interstate highways.
The worn condition, dirt, chipped paint, rust, grease and overall appearance would keep me away from here in the future. Being near the train yard with 24/7 banging together of rail cars was hard to get used to. Air conditioner on high barely produced any cool air. I personally removed the filthy air filters and cleaned them in order to allow the unit to run a little better. Room never really cooled until the morning when we were about to check out.
