The rooms/suites are clean and comfortable. Check in/out is quick. Our dog loves the hotel.

This location was a little more expensive than most of the La Quinta Inn's I've been to, but the location, cleanliness, and breakfast made it worth it after a long drive. Also, my room was huge. I had a room with a king bed, which had a big bathroom, microwave, fridge, two chairs, a couch, and a desk. It was way more room than I needed for a simple stop over, but I'd definitely it for people or families staying in or around Florence for a few days.
We had a good time on our weekend visit. The customer service we received was excellent. Breakfast was fresh and hot. My daughter loved the pool while I enjoyed the hot tub! The price was great and they offer a coupon at the local rest area that gives you a nice discount. The bed was like sleeping on clouds. I will definitely return with my family rhe next time I want a local mini vaca.
We usually stay at ?budget? family hotels, but this was our first time at a La Quinta. This one was OK, but always seemed a step behind on some of the basics. Our room for 4 people only had 3 bath towels and one washcloth. We visited the indoor pool twice (smaller pool than most), and both times they were out of towels. There were no linens for the sleeper sofa, and when they brought them, they only brought one pillow, not two. Requests were always handled promptly and with a smile, we just didn?t really expect to have to request them. Breakfast was also lacking compared to other hotels in this price range -- food was below average at best, ran out of coffee and took a long time to re-fill, dining area wasn't very clean.
The only ?serious? problem was the sleeper sofa ? it was VERY uncomfortable for our young girls. Very thin mattress and hardly any top padding, so you could feel every spring. Ugh.
When I asked how much extra it was for our dogs I was informed that pets are part of the family and there is no extra charge!. It is also a great area to walk the dogs. And for us humans there were great restaurants and shopping in the immediate area. Room was large and clean and the bed was very comfy. This is now our go to hotel when in the area!
