On arrival, the outside of the building was clean, parking lot wasnt littered, etc. Checking in, the staff was very friendly, told us the pool was open till 1am (awesome), gave us a lot of info, and things we should know. The lobby was clean and it appears they had a good selection for their continental breakfast, two waffle makers, cereals, juice bar, and plenty of other things. The corridors were kept. Clean, and vending machines were stocked with typical candies and such (not more expensive than gas stations) having shaving kits, sewing kits, toothbrush/paste kits, playing cards, gum, and there may have even been contraceptives (lol). The prices were very reasonable. The pool was HEATED, and there was a kiddie pool too which was convenient. The hotel itself was two or three floors, had plenty of parking. Onto the rooms, the first thin I noticed was the amount of space. The rooms were very cheap in price, yet had 12 or 13 foot ceilings, HD tv's, nice carpeting, comfortable couches, nice dark wood desks, metal furnishings (lamps and such), a huge dresser, a few paintings around the room, And came equipt with a microwave, fridge, cofee maker, a dish sink, FAST INTERNET (the first time I've ran a speed test in a hotel, clocking at 13mbps). While I was unable to run an Xbox with wireless, it seemed to have worked wired. Sepperating the bedroom and living room (yes, a living room) was a wooden door. Bathrooms were stocked with towels and soaps / shampoos that didn't leave me feeling dry, and actually smelled really nice. It is obvious that this hotel is very well kept and you cannot truely judge one till you've been inside. The staff has been second to none, and they even made a fresh batch of popcorn on the popper at 11:30pm and asked if there was anything else I needed and such. Props to the ladies who served us, they were great. If I had to look for complaints about this hotel, the only needle in the haystack was the beat-up door key and slow toilet flushes. LOL that says a lot, when you can only complain about the appearance of the door key, of all things. Great hotel so far. Great staff Heated pool (outdoor) Homey feels Comfy pillows Real furnature HDTV FAST NET. All of the above in a VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE RANGE. Stay with them. You won't / can't complain. Staff is great, rooms are very clean,excellant n/c breakfast with someone taking care of it that really works hard to keep it clean and stocked. Will stay here again.Location is convienient to most things in Sandusky.Nicely Lit parking.

I have stayed here many times now. It is close to Cedar Point. Just a quick drive to get there. ALL THE STAFF is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have always been very clean!!!! It is by far the best hotel for the price because of its cleanliness and wonderful staff. I will continue to stay here as long as everything remains the same. It is great!

I stayed at this hotel while visiting Cedar Point. The location was great. You're Down the street from the mall and numerous restaurants. Also it's only about a 10 min drive to Cedar Point. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The next time visit Cedar Point I plan to stay here.

Better than most La Quintas. Very helpful and wanted to please. Had some problems with electronic lock and took care to correct the situation. Good location and easy in and out. Will stay again. Breakfast was typical of the chain.
