For several years we tried a different motel every time we went to Springfield, MO, until now. The last thee times we have stayed at the La Quinta Inn South and we intend to stay there from now on. What a nice facility and it is centrally located as well. We have tried different styles of rooms and like them all. The one with the single queen bed also has a separate sitting room with TV. The pool and the breakfast are great. If you have a pet, the walking area out back that is equipped with pick up bags is very nice. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. We will be back soon!
very clean, newly up dated. The employees vey helpful and friendly. We will stay there again. They even had a doggie park for our dogs. Thank you
The room was very nice, the bed looked very inviting. Had a microwave oven, ice box, flat screen TV, plenty of tables, coffee pot. The sheets on the bed looked very clean and crisp.
My year old granddaughter was admitted to a local hospital. I stayed here with a toddler sibling and parent, as the parents took turns staying with the baby at hospital. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. Front desk staff was great as I had previously changed my departure date and ended up my granddaughter was released early. I just wished I remembered staff names.
We stayed two night May 1-3,2013. Hotel very central to Springfield, VERY clean and had breakfast was above average IMO. The hotel also provided a happy hour with very resonable drinks and free snacks, including hotdogs with the fixin's. The price was great and i highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Only negative was the very weird jets in the hottub......like a volcano in the middle....odd. Also I didn't mind the sliding bathroom door nut our had no lock. Should be a quick fix i assume. Overall great stay!
Great hotel with fantastic staff. Every member of the staff including the cleaning personnel, greeted me with a smile. Reminded me of when I stayed at the Ritz...of course those smiles cost me a lot more. :)
La Quinta is the type of hotel that is the same wherever you go; this is why I look to see if they're available first before checking out another hotel chain.
