We had a late arrival after a 10 hour drive. The web directions were perfect. The external appearance is appealing. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful with directions. The room is awesome! Large, roomy suite, pet friendly and you'd never know pets were there. Cleanliness is a major concern and you passed with flying colors. The breakfast was the standard but filling, great presentation. Great room for the price would definitely stay there again.

Recently visited for the National Archery tournament and decided to stay an extra night. Booked the room after 4:00pm and was VERY pleased. The two gentlemen working the front desk were very pleasant and professional! Our room was spacious and very clean. I was a litle nervous about the noise with the location of the airport but the noise was not bad. The first plane leaving at 4:45am woke me up but I immediately went back to sleep. It literally took us 5 minutes to get to the airport the next morning! So, if you need to stay close to the airport, this is your location!

We had a room on the first floor, called "deluxe queens w/microwave and fridge." We will not stay there again until the entire hotel has been renovated, for the following reasons: When we entered the room there was a strong damp smell throughout. Someone had carved their name into the bathroom floor tiles. The heating/cooling could not be adjusted except by adjusting the temperature on the thermostat (no way to get just a fan, for example, to air out the damp smell) Judging by the positive reviews from other travelers, we have to believe the other rooms are in better shape, but we lost out on this one.

Our room (which was "One King Bed with Refrigerator," not Executive or anything else) was huge. The most amazing thing about the room was the kitchen wall--actually with a small sink, lots of cupboards and counter space, with microwave and fridge. What a pleasure preparing coffee and using the refrigerator! The room seemed newly renovated and very clean. I would not have felt queasy about walking with bare feet on the carpet (though, on principle, I did not). The bathroom was also squeaky clean and new. I must say I still find La Quinta hotels a real value and I do appreciate that they don't seem to waste money on unnecessary items. No lotions, conditioners or other items that I can, and do, bring myself are supplied. In exchange for saving money on these throwaways, they supply a real box of tissues, plenty of toilet paper, shampoo and soap. And they are not stingy about coffee supplies--especially this location, which provided a basket of coffee and tea fixings. Towels are large, linens are clean and new. I am learning to appreciate their one-cup coffeemakers that require almost no cleaning, keep coffee fresh and hot, and brew it almost instantaneously. Front-desk and breakfast staff were pleasant and efficient. This trip was different from most for us--no pets, which is why we usually stay at La Quinta. Traveling as a couple and staying at La Quinta hotels like this one was a real pleasure!

My husband and I and another couple stayed here four nights during Derby time. The rooms were spotless and large. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and soft, cozy sheets. We had, I guess, what is called an efficiency. We had a small kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. There was also a safe free of charge. Only one suggestion for the rooms. My friend and I agree that we would like to have had a full length mirror. The staff here is very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was average at best, but sufficient. There is an airport shuttle also. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
