We expect less when we pay less, but this facility scrimps too much to give a lower price. We stayed 5 nights. Twice, our room was skipped by housekeeping. Be aware, they told us they clean the bathroom only on checkout, so if you have a multi-night stay, expect this service level. Even when housekeeping showed up, they were not thorough. The 2 times we were there when they came, we needed to remind them to empty all the wastebaskets. Towels are super thin. (even for a budget place) Traffic access is terrible. Exiting to go left on Woodruff Road is an adventure, especially at rush hour. The breakfast area was a mess every day. They just don't have enough staff to keep this small area clean. Only one drink vending machine worked. Staff wasn't too concerned about that. Traffic noise from nearby I85 and I385 is not an issue. On the plus side: Kerri at the front desk is a jewel. She tried mightily to keep the lobby and breakfast area clean while not ignoring her front desk duties. Overall, the staff is lackadaisical. More staff with initiative and customer service focus, such as Keri, would be a big improvement. Last [minor] point, the in-room wifi is very good. Stay here for less money, but expect sharply reduced ambience and service.

very good experience with this hotel. the room was clean breakfast was good the price was good and the service was efficient. We had a quick and easy no hassle check in and check out. The staff were courteous, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. An overall great value for my money I recommend staying at la quinta greenville woodruff road to anyone

Great stay... Late night cigar under gazebo by pool was especially nice. My family had a great time. Breakfast was good too. Little early in the year for a cold swim but the pool area was extremely clean and well kept.

Let me just say that everything went right with every part of this hotel experience. Here's the full version...We were driving from Florida to New York with a 3 year old and a 6 month old and two dogs. I started by googleing pet friendly hotels and a few came up. I called a different chain in the same area first, and got a quote for out one night stay (with my military discount). They quoted me a price and then when I told them we had 2 small dogs, they proceeded to tell me that they could no longer give me the military rate, because hat was their policy. I told them that I was still active duty regardless of whether or not I had pets, and then she told me that they were not pet friendly after all. Needless to say that was the end of the conversation. Next I called La Quinta, and it was about the opposite. Very nice woman, very nice military discount, and a better room with no pet fees. When we got to the hotel, the receptionist was super nice, and when I got into the room my eyes widened. It was beautiful. A suite with a king size bed in one area, with glass doors separating another living room/kitchenette area with a queen size fold out couch. Both "rooms" had separate TVs also, which was handy since the wife and I did not want to watch cartoons after our long drive. Everything was super clean, and we only ended up paying about $75.00. No way to beat the size and value of the room plus two pets for that price (and that was after tax). The noise was negligible, and almost all rooms have their own outside door. Ours was one of two rooms in the entire hotel that you had to go through the lobby to get to. Anyway, the whole experience was a breath of fresh air. That s the reason that I took so much time to write this. I hope it helps somebody.

I stayed at La Quinta for only one night while driving from New Orleans to Fort Mill SC this week. We wanted to drive straight through but it started pouring rain, and although we were only two hours from our destination, we really needed to stop. I can't stand places like Super 8 due to too many bad experiences, but I didn't want to waste a lot of money. We found La Quinta in Greenville for only $58 per night, free breakfast in the morning, nice and clean rooms, and a 12 pm checkout time! The woman at the front desk was very friendly and attentive even though it was getting late, I wish I could remember her name! Anyway, highly recommend this hotel!
