A La Quinta traveler |
Okay, it doesn't have all the amenities of the big hotels and you have to go up some stairs to get ice, but they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. My friend is handicapped, and they are always ready to climb the steps for her to get ice. The problems we have had have been quickly handled and they've stepped in and helped with things that normally weren't on their job descriptions. And when we've gone back, we almost feel like we are going home.
Great location, value,very friendly employees, bright, clean quiet comfortable rooms, good breakfast...second stay here, will be back next year for sure ! Best priced Laquinta in Dallas area ! Enjoyed our 3 night stay very much...you won't go wrong here !
Old LaQuinta off Central in Plano. Brother had a full house, so decided to stay here. Didn't feel super safe, but had no issues. They are in the process of renovating the rooms. We had a room that was in transition. Pet friendly with no additional fees. Free parking.
I stayed here one night with my wife and can say it's an inexpensive place that is ok to stay at. The staff is good and the lobby area and room are perfectly fine. The grounds and pool area could have used some cleaning. The handle on the bathroom sink hot water came unscrewed the first time I used it. I screwed it back on and had no further problems. I must say that the hotel does offer a good rate and in general is good to stay at if you are just passing through town for a few days.
Clean, comfortable room with new flat screen TV. Bathtub and sink were clean but needed replacing. They had worn spots and the staff placed a "vinyl sheet" in the tub each day to cover worn areas. Breakfast was excellent and had fresh fruit and juice options as well as hot waffles. Staff kept an eye on the breakfast area and made sure it was clean and well-stocked with all items. I loved the clean white linens on the comfortable bed and especially appreciated the clean bed covering that smelled freshly laundered.
