The front desk was very helpful and nice. The hallways and food area wasn't very clean. We had breakfast at 8 in the morning and the place was a mess. There was no one to clean off tables and the floor had food everywhere. Rooms weren't clean especially the bathroom where I found a dirty washrag over the shower curtain. I always stay at LaQuinta but won't stay at the Midvale location again
I will never stay there agene.....The POOL never worked. My stay was 3 days too Meany..
I had read the review after I booked so I called and asked it the pool was working I was told YES.......:( My hubby stays in LA Quinta all over the US he earns point for staying and I have now got him going to a other Hotel. Just from is stay here.
Shena, at the front desk, tries to keep the food well stocked even with the rushes caused by large groups. Angela, general manager, is trying to spruce up the place. Kevin makes you feel welcome. Close to the interstate
Stayed at LaQuinta Inn on May 15. The remodel is almost complete. Our room was neat and clean. Some smell of new carpet in hallway. Rooms are small but didn't expect a suite. Front desk area was in disarray from remodeling. Front desk personnel tell me they are awaiting drapes and bed skirts. For a mid price hotel not bad.
"Construction and non-working pool should be mentioned on the website."

I booked a two-night stay for May 2 and 3, 2013, at LaQuinta Inn in Midvale, Utah. When we arrived at the hotel, the hotel was remodeling, and the whole place smelled of paint. Also, the whole reason I booked that particular hotel was because it had a pool, which appeared nice in the ad. However, when I arrived, the pool was out of order. I requested that the LaQuinta transfer me to a different hotel, as I felt the construction/non-working pool issues should have been mentioned when I booked. They said they could not help me, since I had booked through Expedia. The Expedia customer service person transferred me to a nearby Crystal Inn, which was a much nicer hotel.
