A La Quinta traveler |
We had a great stay. The staff was friendly. The room was quiet, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is very close to restaurants, retail stores & the Crystal Bridges Museum. We plan to stay there on our next visit to Bentonville Arkansas .
I havent stayed at too many La Quinta's, so do not know if this is indicative of the La Quinta brand, but there were some items that I just did not like. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was clean. The problem I had was the bathroom, and amenities. The towels were clean, but there just were not enough of them.
My major compliant is the use of liquid soap dispensers in the shower. If one thinks about the potential breeding ground of contamination, it becomes quite apparent that liquid soap dispensers are NOT acceptable in a hotel. Everyone in the shower is there to get clean, their entire body clean. Now, those same people are touching the soap dispenser to get soap - before their body is clean. No matter the level of cleaning by the housekeeper in between guests, it is a breeding ground for all sorts of problems, including disease. I simply will not choose this hotel, or any hotel that does not want to invest $1 on soaps to ensure a clean, comfortable experience.
If this hotel decides to abondon those soap dispensers, their nightly managers reception and breakfast were nice enough to recommend. Right now - I simply cannot recommend due to lack of management vision to care enough to provide a comfortable experience.
We stayed at the property with family and friends for a softball tournament and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and I think that this hotel was a step above other La Quinta hotels we have been to. Nice job guys.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for the Business or Family trip destination. The hotel has convenient access to all of the sights and attractions Bentonville has to offer. The Front Desk was extremely helpful with suggestions for local entertainment and directions. Also, had coupons for most! Definitely will stay again soon!
Staff took excellent care of us during frightening tornado warning! We were ushered to the safest location in the facility until all danger had passed. Staff kept us up to date as weather conditions changed. Citypolice and weather alert system worked together to make sure wewere in shelters before the tornado hit just a short distance away.
