Easy easy. Desk personnel carefully selected a great room since I was staying longer than 1 or 2 nights. Room was nice. Clean. Everything worked. Quiet. Mini frig. Free internet. Very comfortable king size bed. Recommend. This is located close to a lot of businesses and IBM HQ is down the street. Cannot walk to restaurants but there are many in a short drive. The hotel does have a pretty good restaurant and bar in it. Pet friendly which is wonderful. NO extra charges.
We flew out of Westchester last week to Phoenix. Parking is extremely limited at this airport so we left our car at this hotel for a $10.00/day fee. They shuttled us right to the airport and picked us up within 1/2 of our flight landing. Friendly driver and front desk clerk.
The La Quinta in Armonk is where we always stay when we travel to sell antiques at Cord Shows events. For the money paid, it is clean and quiet. The staff are always very friendly, and the breakfast buffet (included with your stay) is terrific. There is a wide variety of nutritious food choices...not just coffee, juice and a donut.

Storms came through on 5/23 and coupled with the holiday weekend I was not able to get rebooked on a United flight until Saturday morning 5/25. The united gate agent gave me the number to the La Quinta and I called them and asked for the United distressed rate for 2 nights and it was very reasonable. So I booked the reservation after I got my bag returned and called the shuttle... On the way thinking for the price what is the hotel going to be like. Well to my pleasant surprise it was very nice the lobby looked great, they just renovated the rooms .. the beds were great for sleeping, free wi-fi which was speedy , and they had a 5 star Steak House attached to the hotel.
So all my worries about this La Quinta were unfounded and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an issues with the key card and the refurbished lock on the door but the staff came back to the room with a new key and it worked fine.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the White Plains , NY area and if I find myself back in that area needing a place to stay I will certainly stay here ...
I arrived at 4:30 pm without a reservation. The women at the front desk was very nice, but you could see how stressed she was. She explained, she was extremely busy and had no help, but if I came back in an hour she would have a room for me. I came back in about two hours after a business meeting and not only was she much busier, she still had no help. This time, I was told I still had a room, but I would have to wait another 45 minute's to an hour for a room.Needless to say, I went to another Hotel, I booked at the Tarrytown Hilton, a professionally run hotel and even received an upgrade and a discounted price for my troubles with La Quinta.
Now this is the way a professional Hotel should be run!!!
I don't blame the receptionist, I blame General Manager, learn how to run a hotel! May be you should work at a Hilton for a week and learn something about the Hotel business.
