Very clean and everything updated inside and out. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, everything hot and a good selection. The beds and pillows were a little hard for us. They only have one ice machine and it is in the lobby. They have one elevator and at times it took a long time.
We stayed here for 5 nights including a weekend. The rate is much higher on weekends vs weekday. Not sure why since it wasn't crowded. Breakfast was great. Bacon on day, sausage another, bacon, etc... Eggs are the powdered ones. I am not a fan.
Our room was a suite, not sure if they all are or not. We had a full size fridge, micro, stove with two burners. No cooking items at all in the room but I got a skillet and coffee cups at front desk.
The room was old and smelled moldy. This was the second hotel we stayed at in Houston that smelled like mildew. Perhaps it's a coastal thing?
Hot tub was ice cold but jets worked.
My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at the Willowbrook La Quinta. The room was perfect (with sofa and chair) for our visit, as we had visitors to our room. We found everyone there to be very friendly and hospitable. The variety of breakfast foods was much better than we have found in other hotels. We would definitely stay here again.
Great service friendly staff ,gave excellent directions on how to get to destination. Room was very clean as was the rest of the Hotel.Location was great near restraunts and shopping centers in a great area of Houston.
Was the best stay in a long time. I felt like i was staying at a hilton !!! So clean and quite and the breakfast was just well put i will definitly comeback to this la quinta in my future returns to houston. O and book always online is cheaper!!!10 stars!!
