The motel staff was very friendly. The grounds and buildings were clean. The pool looked good but I didn?t have an opportunity to use it. The rates are reasonable. The motel is easy access from the interstate. The breakfast is good with a wide selection. The down side; the parking lot is very small and gets confined and narrow. I stayed on the second floor and the floor in my room was ?soft? in one place; I think it may have been repaired at some time. Like one other reviewer stated, the water temperature in the shower would not maintain a constant temperature. It was a constant rhythm though and you can time when to step out of the stream and step back. The fiberglass tub ?creaked? under my weight and the toilet was a small round bowl. So, this place is not for large vehicles or large people. The motel is aged but overall has been maintained well. I would recommend this motel.
Continental breakfast is far superior than most motels, with fresh foods in a large variety. Rooms were well maintained and quiet. Microwave, fridge, and wi fi in each room. Beds were comfortable. This is all that I can think of to write, and if you wanted me to write an essay you should have said so. I am done and have better things to do now.
Kind, courteous staff. The breakfast has hot and cold food with no extra charge for the hot. It was good food and there was plenty. The hotel is animal friendly. The rooms are clean and quite. The tv's are nice with plenty of channels to watch. Also the rooms come with a refrigerator and a complimentary bottle of cold water.
We choose this location because it was close to my grandfather's nursing home. The hotel was centrally located and easily accessible to many different restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The price was fair. The pool is very nice and I loved the fact it was a salt water pool. My only issue was the shower. Having a tired two year old, I decided it would be quick to just give her a shower. I set the temperature and then put her in. Without warning the water went to scalding to cold to the temperature I set it. It went on like this for the 5 minutes I had her in there so I had to just give her a sponge bath later that night my husband had the same problem. Other than that my stay was fine and I will be staying here each time I visit my grandfather.
I was very impressed with everything about this La Quinta; from the warm welcome I received when I checked in, to the friendly "come back again" when I left. I spent one night just passing through on the tail end of my vacation. What impressed me the most was within 15 minutes of arriving in my room, the front desk called just to check and make sure I was satisfied with my room and to see if I needed anything. That's the first time I've ever had that happen when staying anywhere. If I ever pass through Ardmore again and need a place to stay I will definitely stay at this La Quinta.
