We got to Marietta late at night, walked in with our dog and asked to check in. The lady at the front desk answered, that we cannot bring our dog inside and looked down on her screen. She would not say one more word to us, until we brought our dog outside. Ok.. We checked in, went to the room and found the bed linen to be dirty and we found hair in the bathroom by the coffee maker.. it was late and we were too tired to move with our luggage+ dog, so we asked for clean sheets, and went to bed. We left without breakfast.
We have stayed at several La Quinta's and they are usually very nice and some accept pets. We travel with our pet so we try to choose those that accept pets. This was the worst one we have seen. Garbage cans overflowing everywhere! Pollen was coating everything in the room. We had to clean all surfaces with glass cleaner. Beds were uncomfortable and they only offered continental breakfast not the bright side breakfast so we did not eat there. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, especially Anthony. That's the only positive comment I can make.
Arrived late, convenient location easy to find.
Room smelled very musty, the smell went away once the air ran awhile.
Some mold was present along the shower. The shower bar was rusted and the shower head was a couple of inches away from the wall. The bathroom door was 50 shades of crème with rust along the base. Paint was scratched on the walls in the room. Breakfast was done and gone by 9:00, early in my book.
It looks like new carpet was in the room, along with hardwood in the bathroom. The TV was brand new and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The sleep comfort made this a 3* stay.
This property needs some work, will probably not stay here again due to the condition of the bathroom.
I have always stayed at this location and enjoyed the value and the ammenities. Located right of I-75 I have easy access to downtown Atlanta, as well as going back home to Nashville. Also there is a Cracker Barrell next door so if you want a more heartier breakfast, just look next door.
Room and bathroom weren't clean, smell of the room indescribable. We are a non smoker family. They didn't pick up the trash, not vacuum at all a really bad experience. Police was on our arrival. Didn't feel safe. Please take my advice not stay there. Remote issues..forget it!
