This motel is just a few blocks from I-35 and across the street from the Market Square. Free, off street parking is included in the room rate. This is a valuable perk as parking in San Antonio is at a premium. The River Walk and several historic sites are within a comfortable walking distance. If I found myself at the River Walk late at night I would use a cab or at least ask the staff about the safety of walking late at night. We walked to the motel at sundown and felt comfortable. The accommodations are standard motel offering. The pool area is very nice and we used the pool on two of our four day stay. Extra towels are available near the pool. The beds were comfortable but the room could use an upgrade. The carpet was worn and the chairs were mismatched. The breakfast included waffles, fresh bananas, fresh apples, fresh oranges, a selection of fruit juices, a selection of yogurts plus the basic motel breakfast foods. Overall we found the staff friendly and helpful. We had a bad experience when we came back from the Market and found that our room had been cleaned but the door left ajar. I would recommend this La Quinta because the location and the helpful staff overshadows the tired and worn appearance.

We stayed at this LaQuinta for my son's college graduation. The rooms were very quiet and the beds comfortable. There was a larger breakfast spread than at most LaQuinta hotels. It was close enough to the San Antonio River Walk that we were able to walk to the River Walk for dinner and then take a cab home for under $10. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be close to the River Walk but chose not to stay at a high end hotel on the river. There was plenty of parking.

Great location and great atmosphere! Enjoyed very much this hotel and will come back on my vacations with and without my children. Central location makes it easy to get to all what San Antonio has to offer.

This place was in a great area close to everything, Staff was awesome. We felt good every time we spoke with staff they had a smile and they were very helpful to us. clean place even had laundry in the hotel for guests to use that was clean also. We had fun because of the staff being so nice. One I would like to mention was Barbra front desk staff.

Very friendly service. Nice clean rooms and staff was always helpful. Great place to get away. I will definetly stay here next time and recommend this hotel to my friends. We were able to walk to all our events downtown. Which made everything accessible and convenient.
