My requests are unusual and La Quinta full filled every one. I could not be happier with my stay. I will visit this hotel again next year. Inform La Quinta staff of any special needs. I'm sure they can take care of every one.

On a trip with my brother and my parents, odd doing this in my forties. Something my brother thought would be fun since we haven done this since we were teenagers, mind you we haven?t started fighting in the car yet. At any rate I booked us rooms at La Quinta in Sharonville OH. I checked the ratings and looked ok, I have stayed at a La Quinta so kind of knew what to expect. Wrong... I booked the rooms though Expedia though all would be good. Nope, when we checked in all good kind of ghetto lobby so that pretty much set my expectations for the room. I am sharing a room with my brother and being older the thought of sharing a bed, no. Ladies I know you don't see why this is such a big deal, trust us it is... At any rate I digress. I open the door and there is a King bed? Back to the front desk where there is only one person holding down the fort, or not sign on counter "be back soon". Awesome! Ok so they returned I explained that I had booked a king and TWO beds for the other room. I was informed that when booking through an external source such as expedia they all come in as King beds. ??? So all they have is two doubles in a smoking room. Ding, ding, ding three aces just hit the jackpot, if you did not catch that sarcasm I don't smoke. There is nothing Iove more that stale smoke! I love smelling like an old casino on Fremont St. To move on breakfast was ok, there was a waffle maker (2) fake juice, coffee, muffins, yogurt, toast, yada yada yada...Very much looking forward to checking out. The Wi-Fi was sketchy at best. Expedia (insert virtual image of a fist shaking in the air) you are on my rant list now and I will be following up with you. Would I stay here again or recommend it ah...NO.

Front desk staff was a little rude but the housekeeper more than made up for their mistake of putting us in a room that was not completely changed over yet. Swimming pool and hot tub were nice but area needed some attention as there were used towels laying around.

My stays with the La Quinta family have been like rolling a dice, however I've had more good times than bad and so glad I chose this La Quinta to spend a couple of nights in even though it was a little further from Kings Island. the staff was great, everything was wonderful. I made this reservation 2 1/2 months in advance and everything was perfect. the staff made me feel at home, I was always spoken to and asked if I needed any type of assistance each time I passed the front desk. I felt like I was home. everything was clean and very well kept. I am disappointed that I didn't stay for the duration of my hotel because my 2nd La Quinta choice wasn't as pleasant. I will DEFINITELY visit this hotel again for my vacation.

In this price range I only expect clean, quiet and efficient- no bells nor whistles. It failed. I could hear the couple next door being intimate- just what i needed with my children here. The hall was full of tobacco stench and even though it was a non-smoking room, the odor or tobacco was obvious. Breakfast was the standard low-end stuff. The exception was the coffee which was God-awful. It was instant out of a machine- really nasty. The pool was OK. Bigger than most. The exercise room is tiny and windowless with some equipment working and other pieces malfunctioning. Check in took about 6 minutes in line even though it was just one single in front of me. it felt forever because the staff moved like molasses. WiFi is free but the bandwidth is too slow to stream. Housekeeping missed my room- no big deal as I do not make much mess. But I would have liked some new supplies. I would have given another star if the price had been 80/night instead of 120/night. Bottom line is that there a many properties in this location and I will try a different one when I return in 3 months. PS: the A/C was too noisy to use. Fortunately, the cool weather did require cooling. And the light and fan in the small bathroom are on the same circuit which compels both to be on or neither one. Hot water was borderline for shaving: should have been about 10 degrees hotter.
