A La Quinta traveler |
You will not find a better value in the Chicago area for a hotel of this quality. The staff is very attentive and all the surroundings are super clean. The breakfast area is quite large and is well arranged for a smooth traffic flow. Items offered for breakfast were sufficient and well presented. Coffee and tea were available 24/7 in the lobby.
The hotel staff at the Bannockburn La Quinta are professional, pleasant, and will be sure your stay is comfortable. I've been using this establishment two or three different times of the year, for four years and have never had a bad experience. There is the occasional loud tenant, but the staff is great about getting that taken care of. Another nice thing about breakfast: they continue to keep food and drink levels full throughout the breakfast hours, so you won't miss out. I would recommend this La Quinta to anyone.
This hotel is fine if you don't mind sleeping on hard beds and hearing the traffic of the freeway, they cut down on the perks, no little lotion bottle in the restrooms, the front desk could use more than one person since the guy was always in the phone and when asked a question seemed put out to have to answer or didn't know, he lacked in his people skills. What would help with this hotel is to make it more like a suites location and provide a happy hour, and add some bacon or sausage to the breakfast!
Great hotel, friendly staff, and nice quiet location. Everything was perfect for a weekend getaway! The rooms were very large, clean, and quiet. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The were able to direct us to local areas for entertainment and dining. The hoyel had a nice clean pool and offered breakfast, which was a great way to start the morning. In addition the cost of the hotel was more than fair! Highly recomend.

If you are looking for a safe place to stay and you are looking for great value (with a pool) this is the place. Located off of the expressway and close to Great America, Great Lakes Naval Base this is a very good hotel.
