For the money, this place was great! $200 + in Chicago, but only 30 min north and we paid <$100. Great value!
That being said the fitness center was a little lacking. Just a treadmill and bike as far as I could see. The pool was outside and it was cool, but the kids didn't care. They jumped right in. Though it could have used some skimming by the staff due to the leaves, etc.
Te breakfast was really nothing special. Waffles, yogurt, instant oatmeal, bagels, pastries, overdone hard boiled eggs... Nothing much in the way of protein for a filling breakfast.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, though double beds instead of queen. All in all a comfortable night's sleep and that's what counts.
we went to visit a friend in Chicago suburn on June 1 st, Chicago downtown hotels were just not affordable > $400 , we booked at La Quinta Inn Arlington 25 miles from downtown . Rate was $79 breakfast and Wifi included free parking.
This was excellent price quality return , it is a LaQuinta so do not expect Ritz type suite but we had 2 double beds room , decent bathroom . Breakfast was perfect, we had an activity at the Arlington race track 5 miles from the hotel. Beautiful park to jog at 3 miles the Deer Grove park , so bottom line for 3 nights $250 all included breakfast for 2 wifi parking what to ask more , an happy customer
Stayed for the weekend when visitng Arlington Park racecourse so as to take advantage of the shuttle service to the track. Hotel clean, rooms large, and staff really friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Spent two nights here. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was updated (new carpet, freshly painted, new-seeming bath fixtures). Note that, if your room selection does not mention a refrigerator or microwave, it really does not have one (unlike some other LaQuintas where the description is not necessarily complete). Good location for this area and easily accessible expressways to downtown Chicago.

I live in the area and had to be out of my residence several days while painting/repairs were being done. i reviewed all of the local motels online. La Quinta Arlington Heights had the best reviews. The reviews ARE accurate. I strongly recommend this La Quinta.
