Disagree with many of the reviews here - this is a sub-par hotel for an airport locale.
Pros: Friendly shuttle drivers, prompt. Front desk also friendly, but frazzled: never saw more than 1 person assigned here. Reasonably priced (for Seatac!).
Cons: A repulsive smell (mildew? wet-dog?) during our 2 night stay, in 3rd floor corridor and our room. We had to keep our window open wide, 24 hrs a day, to keep the odor at bay. I sent an email on this to the manager but no reply thus far.
Breakfast pickings the usual humdrum for a free continental breakfast. Served only to 9:00 - much too early for any but the earlybirds.
Room doors slamming shut -- come on guys, this would be an easy fix. Bath towels on the skimpy side (small size). Tip: Make sure you have your cell phone and the hotel's number when returning from downtown and alighting at the light rail link terminal: contrary to the front desk, we saw no courtesy phones there.
They are a good location for a hotel and park and fly. They also have a pretty darn good breakfast in the morning to get you started. The room was comfortable and the staff had pretty good customer service.
Much needed refreshing has been acomplished very quickly. Have been staying here for years. Excellent airport transfer service which also takes you to further away retaurants or to the metro. Pet friendly, which we no longer need, but it is nice to see others enjoying being togethe!
The front desk was efficient at check in and check out. Unfortunately around 4 am there was a man slamming a door many times and when I called the front desk they had security come and look after the situation immediately.
The breakfast was okay - they need to have a wider selection of fruit - by 8 am there were only a few oranges left and no one appeared to be cleaning/resupplying the dwindling stock.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it. Close to the airport and no noise heard from the flights departing or arriving.
This was the first time we stayed at a La Quinta. It exceeded my expectations for the price we paid. We were there for 5 nights and only had an issue one day were we didn't get clean towels. I brought this up to the staff and the matter was corrected immediately.The staff was very helpful. The rooms and bathroom were clean and in good condition. We were about 1.5 miles from the airport with easy on/off access to the interstate. I would definitely stay here again.
