This La Quinta is an original La Quinta, not a building from a different hotel chain previously. One thing that is odd about it is that it does not have an elevator to the second level. You have to walk all your bags upstairs. That said, the rooms are very nice and updated with the new La Quinta bedding. Rooms were clean. Breakfast area was very small. Also, our t.v. was not working properly as the it appeared the network they use was on the blink, or it could have been the t.v. itself losing signals. I felt safe at this location. Priced very reasonably and worth the money.

A colleague and I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Quad Cities Airport and we were departing at 6 AM the next morning. I've stayed at a few LaQuintas in the past, but not for 10 years, and this place resembled what I remembered from 10 years ago - right down to the browns and oranges. All in all, this room wasn't bad for the price ($60), although it was a bit small for 2 double beds. The bathroom was a little cramped as well, but was clean, and that's most important to me. There was a decent-sized flatscreen, and that's better than I can say for some hotels I've stayed at recently. Two drawbacks for me were a lack of a refrigerator and no fan in the bathroom. One of my pet peeves is no bathroom fan, which for older hotels is not unusual (and I can understand not retrofitting one due to the immense cost), so I can accept this one not having a fan. Bottom line is if I was staying for more than one day, the lack of a fridge alone would preclude me from staying here, as well as not having a bathroom fan and size of the room. But for an overnight stay to catch a plane, or as a place to drop your bags after a long day of driving, this place is just fine and reasonably priced. It's all in what you want amenity-wise versus what you're willing to spend and the time you're going to be at the hotel.

First of all check in is 3 pm, arrived at 3:20 to be told room was not ready it would just be a few mins, at 4 pm we were finally able to get into the room...the room had not been vacuumed there was mud all over the floor. Very noisy!! People yelling in the hallways, dogs barking the room next door all night long. I have stayed here before and never had this happen. I will NEVER stay or recommend this Inn to anyone!! Horrible!!

After trying to get a room at the big name hotels which were either full or way over my budget I took this la Quinta near the airport. Less than half the price ( $65) and close to where I was working. It was a clean large room and it was all I needed. It has Montana Jacks on one side and Macdonalds on the other. Bare Bones BBQ is up the street and highly recommended. My only comment on the hotel was that the bathroom door was very narrow, maybe 30 inches. Even though I could get through the door it was a close fit. Breakfast was the standard fare, wafffles, cereal, toast,yogurt etc.. Still a good value for a nights stay.

Compared to the newly remodeled La Quintas, this property is just average. The room was clean and quiet and close to our visit at Augustana College. Breakfast was typical La Quinta. I opted for McDonald's right next door. Room rate was good.
