After an arduous trip, it was a pleasure to be greeted by a genuinely friendly and helpful young man at the front desk. He went out of his way to assist three weary travelers.
The room was spotless, the beds comfortable, the bathroom clean and stocked with sufficient towels. We thoroughly appreciated the pool and hot tub, both clean and inviting.
I would definitely stay again and recommend this La Quinta location.
"Great Service! A few things not up to par though."

Laundry Facility was closed all week due to being "out of order", a pick type comb found in corner of room which made us think they were not thoroughly cleaned, but other than that, it was a good stay. Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet and a good value. Would stay there again. Have been updated which was nice. Everything nice and in working order (well, except for laundry). Don't hesitate staying here, it was a good value.
On a recent trip to the Castle Rock area we choose this hotel for several reasons (1) Pet Friendly (2) Close to outlets (3) Distance to Denver. Hotel has been renovated and is really nice. During our stay, it wasn't very busy which made playing in the pool and hot tub nice. (kinda like your own private pool/spa). Girls at the front desk were nice and always willing to help us out with anything we needed. Breakfast wasn't that great, not many choices for individuals with diabetes. Rooms are HUGE and have lots of space for several adults and your 4 legged babies. And of course PETS are welcomed and they always stay free!
This hotel is a converted and completely renovated Holiday Inn Express. They reopened as a La Quinta in December 2012. Overall the hotel is friendly, clean, and the rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. The breakfast is a little less than you would get in a Holiday Inn Express, but there is enough available to get you started for the day. The rooms can get a little noisy from hallway noise because they have redone the entryways with tile, and the doors don't meet the floor. You could really hear the voices and doors opening and closing, but not a huge big deal. I was staying here to visit family and the location is very convenient to the downtown area, and an easy on and off of the interstate. Of the three hotels in this direct area this is by far the nicest and worth the extra $. The indoor pool is large and clean.
I've stayed here several times. The staff has been friendly and accommodating.
The rooms have been clean, comfortable, quiet. The rooms have microwave ovens and refrigerators. The desks have a pretty good office chair - I've been comfortable working in the room. There is a convenience/sundry store in the lobby area. The rooms either face the street or a building - I have slept I both and they were both good, but if you have a choice, the street-side offers a view. The free breakfast is basic with waffle maker, coffee, cereals, yogurt, breads and boiled eggs. There is an indoor pool and hot tub area - I used to love these when my kids were young.
Within a 2 minute walk you will find about six different places to grab a meal: fast food burgers, pizza, mexican, diner style, and bar-b-que (i like the bbq place. Good prices and good food). There is also a chain drug store almost across the street. One exit north of the La Quinta there is a large very nice outlet mall - easy to get to and from.
The prices here have been good so all things considered the next time I pass through Castle Rock, I'll stay a La Quinta
