We stopped at this Hotel on our way to GA...After stopping at several other hotels, that were sold out or just not up to par...However, you will have to overlook the rundown Econo Inn perched at the front of the entrance drive. Just keep going around, believe me. lol....We landed at LaQuinta Inn in Ormond Beach....From the time you walk in the lobby, you can tell it was brand spanking new....The clerk was very friendly and informative, the halls and gym and pool area were very nice and clean. Our room was on the 4th floor....Oh, the elevators have marble walls and was just inspected on installation....Elevators were beautiful blue marble....They spent a penny here. Once we got to our room, it did not disappoint...Everything new...you could still smell the new car/room smell....Everything Very Clean and Nice and Smelled Good....Highly Recommend them on your next trip to Ormond Beach or Daytona.
Nice hotel with good rooms and a comfortable stay. Negative is bad location back away from road behind a run down residential hotel. did not feel safe out walking the dog at night. No good resturants nearby. Works as a stay over traveling to somewhere else, but do not reccomend is staying to be near Daytona or to go to the beach
This LaQuinta was very clean. The front desk person was very helpful in directing us to restaurants in and around the area. Our overall experience was excellent.
The only negative thing that I can say is that there was a gentleman's bar at the front entrance and we were a little concerned about the area. Once we got to the hotel though we felt very safe and secure.
We stayed in this hotel for the Reach the Beach Cheer Competition. The front desk staff was great!! The rooms were pristine and I felt really comfortable staying in this hotel. Oh yeah, the breakfast was also delicious!

Stayed here for 2 nights. We were in a high end Miami hotel for a few days before and in transit to Orlando. Wanted to take it easy and hang out in Daytona for a few days. I had low expectations based on reviews but this hotel was great for its price range. It's clean, close to everything. The only bad thing is that it may be hard to find. I can agree with some people's post. It's past a strip club, an abandoned gas station a delapidated Inn. But, once you pass all of this, you will reach a fantastic hotel that is not shady! Also, the owners/managers have Canadian roots. So, if you are a Canadian yearning for some Canadian love/hospitality, this place is it!
