We were very pleased with our first stay at LaQuinta! The hotel is very convenient to Springfield Airport and offers shuttle service as well as "Stay 'n' Fly", which we plan to use in the future. We had requested a room on the ground floor, and in addition to granting our request, the hotel upgraded us into a two room suite, with a sofa, fridge, microwave and bar sink - along with a large table that seated 4-5 people. Only two very minor complaints: the internet worked OK and was easy to access, but the speed was slower than I expected; and we were charged an additional $1.50 for the room safe - which we never used. Maybe we missed opting out when we checked in. We will definitely return!
There were always at least 2 people at the front desk that were very friendly with suggestions on where to eat and even where to get our flat tire fixed. They have city maps and were very knowledgeable about their city. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was really good. Our kids loved the indoor pool.
I a stayed here recently with my partner and pet and I was pleasantly surprised by what a nice hotel it was. Everything looks new and extremely clean. Pets are free and the hotel provides a couple nice grassy areas with waste bags. The rooms are large and well equipped. The most surprising was their HUGE free breakfast. Coffee, o.j., cereal, oatmeal, bagels, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, and a ton of fruit. It was wonderful. I'll remember this hotel the next time I'm in Springfield for sure.
Had to stay over in the Springfield area for a one night stay. I was very impressed with this property. It was even pet friendly, with no service charge for pets. Very large rooms and very clean. Extremely well managed hotel.
I would say that this hotel is on par with some Marriotts that I have stayed with in the past. Definitely, give this place a chance. They will not disappoint.
Very nice hotel. Convenient, very clean, very friendly, and they take pets. Everything is like new. We stay there regularly as we drive cross country between New Mexico and Michigan. We are consistently pleased.
