We have stayed here twice now. It is a it hard to get to as it falls off the map for GPS. The hotel is very clean, quiet. Staff pleasant. Breakfast is very good and the area clean and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the rooms up to date.
Check in/out quick, room clean, minor maintenance problem in room. This is a older Hotel well maintained but needs a little more TLC. Breakfast, good selection, something for everybody. The breakfast raised my rating from average to Very Good.
I was not planning on staying in Butte but it started snowing hard after leaving Dillon so I decided I had better not go on. I spotted the Hotel up on the hill and it was really early but was kindly given the perfect suite for me and my two maltepoos. La Quinta is a pet friendly hotel. There was room in back to park the truck and trailer and leave it hitched. I was close to the entry door and the room, which happened to be a suite; bedroom and sitting room. Paid $110.00 with tax for it with my senior discount. New attractive decor with 2 large TV's, a small frig, small microwave and desk, desk chair and table plus king bed. Lots of storage space too. The sitting room part of suite had a huge wall mirror, about 6 ft X 3 ft, a nice feature. Breakfast offers eggs, pancakes, sausage and various cereals, bagels, muffins, juices, coffee etc. The lobby is very large and welcoming with computers, comfy furniture and attractive western art. Totally pleased with everthing here during my stay.
We utilized this establishment as a stopover enroute to Arizona. We arrived and check in was prompt and friendly, I had paid a rate of 99.00 prebooked yet the gentleman in front of me was quoted 89.00. The rooms were spacious , with good wifi , TVs ect . We found the location quiet and close to everything you need . I did forward correspondence to La Quinta about lack of vehicle Plug Ins as it was - 23 C when we arrived . La Quinta did respond and addressed our stated concern. We would return to this modern and well kept establishment.
I have stayed in Butte many times over the years & La Quinta is my favorite. The staff is courteous, rooms clean, beds comfortable, breakfast good and the location convenient. Overall, a very pleasant experience. La Quinta is a safe bet when staying in Butte.
