Not only was the bed comfortable and in a large room, it was a nice quiet location. The breakfast was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there every time we as through.

"Super friendly and like the location a lot!"

I tagged along with my husband on a business trip. The staff is super nice and everyone was very conscientious of their job. They greeted and treated our dog very nice and we appreciate that always. I just filled out a survey sent to us by LaQuinta and I forgot to mention in the breakfast food portion, that we personally try to avoid processed foods. The hot b'fast items were not what we would eat. I would suggest just some nice scrambled eggs. The b'fast lady was super nice and took a lot of pride in her job. The gym is nice and we enjoyed the nice quality treadmill and the fact that you could look out nice big windows. Now, for the room: We stayed in a kitchenette, which was impressive as far as size, layout, and all of the utensils and kitchenware that they had. I called beforehand and was told that they did not have bowls, which wasn't the case. They should have a list of all the utensils at the front desk so that if one wants to know a specific item, they could go to the list. The bed was hard and not super comfy. Also, the air conditioner may have issues in the heat of summer but that's just an assumption because it wasn't working that well for us and it wasn't even hot out yet. The location is great if you like to shop at TJ Maxx and Ross (I do) and a mall. All of the stores were really nice and clean and there are a lot of restaurants in the area to eat at. Oh, the b'fast coffee is super strong and we could not drink it so we had to go out and buy coffee and filters for the pot in our room. Leaving the hotel is very confusing if you're heading to a specific store. If you are in need of groceries, I would stay away from the Albertsons on the corner (too pricey) and head to WinCo a few miles away on Woodruff. If you've never been to a WinCo, it's a great store! We stayed on the street side of the hotel because there is only one king kitchenette in the whole hotel, but I would have preferred the other side because the lights were bright. Also, the other side would get the morning sun, I believe. Enjoy the home baked cookies they put out daily later on in the day; they were very good. Oh, I would suggest some bananas at the b'fast bar. Apples are boring!

"Very nice hotel"

We spent one night here on our way to Spokane. It was a newer property and it was beautiful. The pool was really big and the rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. We were a little surprised at the location. We have always stayed down by the river. This is in a newer area of town and it was very nice.

Was in town for a couple days. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Newer hotel in the middle of many newer restaurants and strip malls. Many choices for your meals and shopping needs. Big pool area for the family. Friendly staff. I would definately recommend and return again!!

"nice laquinta - not close to downtown"
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

This is a nice la quinta = not up to california standards but good. It is in the middle of a big shopping area so convenient to lots of things. Not close to downtown idaho falls though. It is fairly new and had a very good breakfast. Has an indoor pool/jacuzzi. Had a room with a full kitchen = fridge very nosy. Also not good window covering in the kitchen so lights came through all night. Wouild recommend staying at the back of the hotel to avoid the lights from the shopping center
