"Great staff, clean and well maintained"

While this is an older La Quinta with doors to the outside (as opposed to interior corridors), this property is well maintained, clean and a great value for the money. You are met by very friendy staff at the front desk, who will go out of their way to find the right room for you. Our only comment would be that they request any big rig drivers staying there to park away form the guest rooms, especially if they have refrigerator units that periodically fire-up on the trailer. The room was clean, in very good repair, and ultimately very quiet. We would stay again if in the neighborhood.
Place was clean and tidy and the staff was nice. not much else to say about the place other than the value was pretty fair for its location to the highway and the ease of checking in.
Nice beds but was lacking towels for showering for a party of two.
Pool is nice but make sure you obey their rules of closing they will get on you fast even if just sitting pool side minding your own business.
This hotel was clean and our room was fine.
The lady working the breakfast was not real interested when I told her the coffee machine was empty. That was after she talked on the phone a few minutes while I stood in front of her.
This is a good spot if you waant 290 and hwy 6 / 1960.
Plenty of places to eat very close to this hotel.
Use caution if you walk across hwy 6.
The hotel is tricky to get into. If you are headed north east on hwy 6 it can be a challenge getting accross the road and into the hotel parking area. The hotel is tucked behind a barbecue place.
Definitely a great place to stay, and they take small dogs with no upfront fee, best concept ever! Check in was easy, room was quiet except for a train every once in a while, but not during the evening, breakfast was great, and check out was easy.
What else could you ask for, everything was great, newly renovated hotel, great pool, great staff!
This was our second stay at the LaQuinta Inn Cy-Fair. It has outside entry, is 3 levels and is probably the oldest LaQuinta I've ever stayed in. But it has a great staff who responds to any request quickly and cares about your comfort. The rooms are spacious and there is a refrigerator and microwave in the king bed rooms. The bathroom has surround mirrors so great for the ladies. There is another makeup mirror location in the general room as well. There is a nice reclinder in the room that is comfortable to sit in and watch the large flatscreen TV. A nice ergonomic desk chair is at the large desk so plenty of room to work. I was able to setup a printer and my laptop and have room to work. We also asked and received another armless chair for the room so two could sit at the table. Internet is pretty fast - they have at least 2 access points I know of, maybe more. The king size bed is very comfortable - not too hard, not too soft. Elevators solve any issues with the 3 levels. That's the good stuff. The bad stuff - it's an older motel. The ventilator motor in the bathroom shakes the light fixture. The controls on the A/C are in the unit and while the last room had electronic controls, the first room had manual controls that were loose on the stems so you could not tell what the setting was. There is a shortage of electrical outlets - only 1 open at the large work desk. Take an extension with you with multiple outlets if you need more than one. The outlets are also occupied at the end tables, so no plugging in phone chargers there. There is an outside swimming pool but no hot tub/spa. If there is an exercise room, I didn't find it. On the east side of the hotel, you will hear the traffic from 290. It's really loud most of the day. Try to get on the west side.
The continental breakfast consists of cereal, instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, the famous waffle machine, milk, yogurt, juices and some bananas. The coffee is available all day, a plus.
The location is central for working this NW area of Houston or Cypress. With careful use of the GPS, you can avoid most of the worst traffic tie-ups.
We will stay here again.
