"Comfortable stay"

We stayed here one night with a late arrival and early departure the next AM. We had requested a top floor room on the back side of the property. We first were assigned a room on the second floor street facing, but we were moved after our initial request was made again to the third floor back side room. We ordered dinner from a local restaurant for room delivery that was recommend to us by the front desk. Our TV did not work, and we had no internet connection. After a bit of a wait due to the busy front desk, the front desk staff person was able to reprogram the TV to get it working but we never did get the internet connection. We left before breakfast was served, but there was coffee and juice out that we grabbed on our way out out. The beds were comfortable, room was quiet so we enjoyed a good night's sleep. We will stay here again on our pass through on our way back south this fall.

Stayed at this hotel when visiting nearby Gettysburg. Location was good, hotel was clean. My grandmother had requested a ground floor handicapped room when making the reservation and we did not get it, which was somewhat of a shock. However, the overall experience was a good one!

"Convenient location. Great experience at front desk. Noisy. Bathroom not very clean."

Check-in was easy and quick. The person behind the desk was efficient, informative, personable, and professional. Rooms facing the highway (even-numbered) suffer from lots of road noise, even with double-paned glass. But, if you don't mind the sound of trucks going by all night, at least the windows open so you can get some "fresh" air. All three of the towels I used ? a washcloth, a hand towel, and a bath towel ? had holes in them and were stained with dark spots. I did not check the other half-dozen or so towels that were neatly folded on the shelf below the sink. I made the mistake of walking into the bathroom with bare feet. The bathroom floor was extremely sticky. I quickly pulled out my flip-flops and donned them. The bathroom door had many dark smudges along the edge, just above the doorknob, as well as several stains throughout the main panel of the door. The property is conveniently located just off the highway ? hence the noise ? but also within walking distance of several fast-food joints and at least one upscale restaurant. There's a paved sidewalk that goes along the "back way" to the main street, through a beautiful residential neighborhood and across a small stream.

"Nice hotel, clean and strategically located."

Booked this hotel as a halfway point to meet up with my parents. Check in was easy, staff was friendly. We booked a queen room for ourselves and a king suite for my parents. After seeing both rooms, I have to say if you have a choice, get the king room - it was much more spacious. One caveat to the king is that I believe most of the king rooms are on the front side of the building adjacent to the highway. The traffic from I-81 (ie semi-trucks) can be heard and may keep you up if you are a light sleeper. There is a free breakfast available in the morning - it was decent as far as free breakfasts are concerned. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, coffee and juice are available. All in all, it is a nice hotel and I would recommend it as a good stopover point if you're traveling up or down the East Coast.

"Great hotel but lousy desk personnel"

Great facility but the young men working the desk need some training. Tried checking me in using another man's name and financial information. Overcharged me by $18 on checkout on the room rate. Couldn't fix it as I was "Checked out" prior to seeing the billing error. No manager on duty at 0645 and "maybe" due in in 20 minutes or so!!
