We checked in without reservations. The man at the front desk was so nice. We needed a pack n play for our 9 month old. He said it was no problem brought it up to the room for us, and it was set up with a clean sheet on it. He was so personable the entire time. I have stayed at this LQ three times now, it has a pool, but no hot tub....only complaint :)
We mostly stay in Hampton Inns because the beds are great and the free breakfast is very good. We decided to stay at this LaQuinta because of the Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel is excellent. The beds are as good as Hampton. The Hampton breakfast is a little better ... it includes Oatmeal and the coffee is better. However, not enough to justify the extra cost of the Hampton over the LaQuinta. We ended up cancelling our Hampton reservation in North Carolina and stayed at the LaQuinta. We will still stay at Hampton but now we have another choice that is better than HIE.
VERY satisfied with my first visit to La Quinta. Everyone greeted us with a smile and offer of any help we would require. ONLY one comment - please extend the breakfast hours. Room and ALL areas of Inn extremely clean - updated decorating- VERY comfortable BEDS! Very quiet - NO highway noise. VERY VERY pleased! Thank you, La Quinta -Chambersburg, PA -you have earned my respect and my future business! (in any location)
Been taking long driving vacations for the past few years and ever since we rescued our pet Yorkie, we have started staying exclusively at La Quinta Hotels. So we live in Arizona and have traveled all over the Western and Midwestern states, and now we've headed East. Although all the La Quinta Hotels have been nice, the Chambersburg, PA La Quinta is the best one we have encountered in all our travels to date. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Upscale room features. Indoor pool and fitness room. Interstate highway access. We chose for the close proximity to Gettysburg historical sites, and ended up staying another night.
Our family of 6 really appreciated the unique room set up! We all slept well! Very clean! We only stayed the night while traveling to Gettysburg. The breakfast was sufficient, though not much variety.
