Had a great stay. Very comfortable. Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. Didn't get a chance to try out pool and hot tub. To many kids running and jumping in both. We did enjoy the gazebo. Breakfast was good. Nice place to stay.
We stay at this hotel periodically, just to get away from home and be able to take our pets along with us. The service when we first went to check in at 3:30(check in is at 3) was not their usual up to snuff customer service. The gentleman expressed he was ready to get off work and our room was not available yet. When we came back later, Marshawna was the customer service person that bent over backwards to help every customer that came her way. The hotel is nice. Rooms are large. Parking is free. Shopping and restaurants near by. No fee for a pet.
When planning any of our lovley trips I always consult trip advisor, amongst other forums in order to find friendly helpful clean and comfortable hotels, which is why we chose this one. We have had such open and caring treatment everwhere else on this trip and walked into reception with big smiles, expecting the same.....WRONG. There were 3 people behind the desk, nice smiles from two of them....but unfortunately the young lady who dealt with us was downright rude curt disinterested and openly snickered in my face when she asked for my ID and a credit card and I turned to my husband because he was carrying my wallet!!! She obviously found it hilarious that he should have the ID instead of me! When I challenged her about it she laughed and agreed that it was funny, and it was not a friendly laugh either.....I was incensed! I stewed on it for the night and then decided to report it to the manager at check out. Apparently the manager was not available so I spoke to presumably some sort of supervisor who was apologetic and agreed to talk to the young lady Whose name began with T I believe. I am not convinced that she did but whatever. The stay was ok, apart from the last residents urine on the loo seat! The rest of the room was clean and comfortable bed and linens, breakfast was the usual disposable fayre, but was fine. Would not return.
We usually stop at this hotel overnight as a half way point to visit family. It is right off the interstate and more private (fewer buses) than one of the larger hotels right across the street. Check in is quick, management is friendly, indoor pool, beds are wonderful, free wireless internet, large TV, pillows are great, breakfast is hot-- what more could you ask for. One thing we like also is that there is security who keep an eye on kids playing in the elevator etc.
Stayed here on business for a week. I have stayed at many La Quinta hotels but this one was one of the best. Every associate was friendly and went out of there way to be helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast had nice choices and on some afternoons depending on capacity in the hotel, they would run a managers party with beer, wine and food. Even on days when they did not run it, they were more than happy to run in the back and bring you a beer.
Would definately recommend this hotel.
