The most efficient check in we have ever had. The staff was very friendly. The room was wonderful. Clean and spacious. Nice touch getting two drinks at happy hour. Great breakfast and was amazed the scrambled eggs were hot. If we come back to Columbus we will definitely stay there again.

We stayed in this hotel while visiting columbus couple of months ago. The hotel is new, very clean, and very comfortable. The location is excelent close to the highway and parking was specious, and in a fairly quite area. I would rcommend this hotel for any visitor to columbus. The only downside was the breakfast ends at 9:30. This is very early. Other than that i have no complains.

This hotel deserves all its rave reviews. It's decorated stylishly and so clean that it looks brand new although it's a few years old. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the linens very clean. My boys told me the pool was the perfect temperature. It's the standard hotel size, ie small, but it was just them so they had no problem with that. I noticed there was a grill on the patio that I assume guests can use. The breakfast buffet is indeed more varied than usual, including make your own waffles. On Friday there was a lot of food with gluten (breads etc), hard boiled eggs, bananas, apples and yogurt. On Saturday there was the same with some scrambled eggs. If you have food allergies, your choices are limited, like they are in most places. At least they had the hard boiled eggs. The staff was very friendly. One word of warning, they only make one pass with the housekeeping, so if you miss it, they don't come back. That wasn't a problem for us because it was all so clean to begin with and we just went to the desk for dry towels. The hotel is located right off the freeway, with an easy trip into the town of Columbus itself. If you have kids, there's a great indoor playground downtown at The Commons. It has a fantastic climbing structure that our 7 and 9 year old boys thought was terrific. I did see a dog in the hotel, but never heard it. We were on the 3rd floor. I think they keep the dogs in the ground floor rooms.

I have always avoided la Quinta Inns since they accept pets and was sure that I would be hearing barking dogs....but it seemed to be the best choice of Columbus Indiana motels. And, it was a real treat. It was clean, modern, and met our every need. The staff was friendly and professional. We never heard a bark, a yip, a yowl....the dogs were not a problem at all. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was good....plenty of choices. The only thing missing was fresh fruit! Coffee was excellent. I did have a bit of confusion about the cost of the room, but the staff was kind and accommodating, and quickly made the correction. It is just off the exit of I-65. You do have to drive to get into Columbus for the architectural walk. I am not sure if there are hotels in town to avoid that. This is the only negative to this motel.....

Haven't been able to stay at a motel for a year due to illness. What a wonderful surprise we had at La Quinta, Very clean & comfortable. Excellent handicapped roll in shower, very clean rooms an comfortable bed. Always ready to help!. Excellent location. Delicious breakfast . Enjoyed the Inn.
