I recently stayed at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Blue Springs, MO, on a trip to Kansas City. We had some time to spare once we checked in, so we decided to go to the pool. Upon arriving at the pool, it was apparent that the pool hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time. It was a dark blue-green color and you could not see the bottom, even in the shallow end. The rooms were not that bad, and seemed to be fairly new/renovated, but the beds were hard as a rock and the air condition did not make the room much cooler. Overall, it was good for the night, but would not stay here again.
Very Accommodating! I came in after five hundred mile drive and was very tired. They made my check in very easy, and I was resting immediately.The staff helped direct me to areas I had be in the morning,and gave me some tips for getting around the area.
Check in was quick and friendly. The TV in our room didn't work so the front desk person promply came to our room and discovered the cable was missing. When it was located she and my husband got it plugged in and it worked perfectly. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with large fluffly towels. There's a fridge, microwave and coffee maker and the a/c worked really well!The breakfast was good with biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, pastries,apples, cereal, juice, milk, coffee. Only trouble we had was there were LOTS of teenagers running the halls late at night and early in the morning. I had to go out in the hall and tell them to pipe down. Didn't get alot of sleep. I complained to the front desk clerk and she explained that there is a sports complex near and there were quite a few youth ball teams staying for the weekend. We may stay again but not during ball season!
Everything about our stay at the Blue Springs LaQuinta was wonderful. The service, the cleanliness of the room, the friendliness of the staff. We were welcomed with a smile and got to check in even though we were early. The breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
I have stayed at this hotel numberous times while attending dog agility trials in the KC area. The staff is always friendly and helpful...the rooms are clean and well furnished. I would highly recommend this property for anyone traveling with pets. Very accomodating staff. I will continue to stay here on all future trips to Blue Springs. The only tiny issue is trying to get breakfast in the mornings on my last trip. They had 20-30 construction type workers staying there, and they were having a hard time keeping the breakfast selections well stocked...but they were most gracious when I asked for more eggs one morning....had them made withing 5 minutes. Overall a great place to stay.
