Not good. The room was OK, decently clean, good beds and a flat screen TV. That's where it stops. The area was full of hotels, but we chose this one, not a great choice. The exterior property is not kept up: Trash on walkways, some areas of a walkway were crumbling, rust on stairs. That's my take, we'll choose another hotel, when going through Amarillo again.
Very small breakfast area, terrible breakfast. The coffee was so bad we went next door to The Waffle house and they gave us a large for the price if a small. They say they do it all the time because people are always coming to them for coffee and breakfast because of the bad food at the hotel. Parking lot was dirty and building looks like it needs new paint.
The room was clean the bed was just right for me. The room smell so good!!! You have great house cleaners. We will be returning to stay here the next time we return to Amarillo Tx. THANKS

We checked in after a long day of traveling and went to our room. The door wasn't locked when we got there but we just figured that the maid didn't ensure that the door was shut when she left. We went to dinner and came back to the room to find that the room was open. After slamming the door several times it did lock but we slept with one eye open because the door hinge/lock seemed loose. The bathroom light was burned out also. We called the front desk and the gentleman came to replace the bulb. Seemed to work but in the morning we flipped the switch only to find that the light was out again. Therefore, there was something wrong with the fixture. I mentioned this to the man when checking out and he filled out a maintenance slip but didn't offer a discounted rate on our room or anything. I would really think long and hard about staying here again!
The outside walkways were littered with trash. Down right nasty! The breakfast was very limited in selection. Supposedly recently updated, but I find that hard to believe. But the bed was clean and comfortable. I will look at the one on the east side next time.
