My son and I and our dogs have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times in the past couple of years. He lives in Denver and I live in Abilene Texas so we meet here for a visit.
The rooms are clean and spacious. We sleep so good that we usually miss breakfast so I can't comment on that.
There are lots of other hotels in the area, but this is the best value. Don't let the reasonable price scare you off.
The reviews are correct. The exterior if the property is very dirty and run down. The most important thing for me is that the room is clean and it is pet friendly. Nice clean comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Shower was a bit difficult, but once I figured it out water was hot.
The staff is nice even though it took three tries to get my key to work. I left before breakfast. Great if you travel with your furry friends.
Not good. The room was OK, decently clean, good beds and a flat screen TV. That's where it stops. The area was full of hotels, but we chose this one, not a great choice. The exterior property is not kept up: Trash on walkways, some areas of a walkway were crumbling, rust on stairs. That's my take, we'll choose another hotel, when going through Amarillo again.
Very small breakfast area, terrible breakfast. The coffee was so bad we went next door to The Waffle house and they gave us a large for the price if a small. They say they do it all the time because people are always coming to them for coffee and breakfast because of the bad food at the hotel. Parking lot was dirty and building looks like it needs new paint.
The room was clean the bed was just right for me. The room smell so good!!! You have great house cleaners. We will be returning to stay here the next time we return to Amarillo Tx. THANKS
