We stayed at "La Quinta Inn & Suites" in Ronks, Lancaster, from June 3rd until June 5th (2 nights). The check-in and check-out was easy and the reception stuff were polite. The hotel seems new from the outside and I thought that the room would be in very good condition. Unfortunately the room (2 double-bed room) looked dirty and the furniture looked outdated. I looked under the A/C unit while I was searching for my son's little car and I found a filthy tennis ball, who knows for how long it was there (room 229). They had a coffee maker on the bathroom counter (!!!), instead of having it somewhere in the room, a mini-fridge and a microwave. The bathroom amenities were a single small bottle of shampoo/body bath and a small soap for 3 persons. The second day, when we got back in our room, we found clean towels, so we assumed that the housekeeping stuff had cleaned our room, but they hadn't replaced the toilet paper which was about to finish nor the one and only small shampoo/body bath.
The hotel offers a free breakfast with a large variety, free internet in the room and free parking. Its location is excellent because it's situated near the Amish county, the Strasburg railroad, the Dutch Wonderland and you can find many restaurants nearby. I'll give this hotel another try only if I book it in good price.
We stayed here on our trip. It is in a very nice area and the staff and hotel are first class. The price is higher than others in the area but they accept pets and don't charge extra like most of the others. I read reviews on other pet friendly hotels and those reviews were not good. Would definitely stay here again.
In town for a soccer tournament. Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Easy to access all points in the Lancaster area. Comfortable bedding, hotel was quiet. Good breakfast offered. Would stay again if in the area.
I have been traveling to this area for the past 10 years and have stayed in several different area hotels, but this one is by far the best. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. The very first time I stayed in this hotel I knew I would never spend another night in a different hotel. I like this hotel so much that I already have my next reservation made.
Stayed with the grandkids for Memorial Day weekend. We have stayed numerous times and everytime has been great, including when Lancaster was hit with unexpected snow.
This is the first time we have used the pool. When we came down last night pool was very crowded, there are a total of 8 chairs !! The deck around the pool is VERY slippery, we saw several kids slip and fall. It is 9:22 am and the pool is packed and people are sitting on the floor watching their kids swim.
Our room was very clean. It was very affordable even though it is a holiday.
