"staff was very nice and welcoming"

A La Quinta traveler |
was very pleased with front desk staff and maid service was impecable!!!! was especially impressed with night?am front desk employee Tabitha. was cronfronted with loud and very rude guest with a lobby full of families having breakfast and not once did she lose it or raise her voice back. she very calmy and proffessionally handled the problem. Great job!!!!
We booked a King suite--did not get a suite. We are Elite Members and should have had priority access, especially since we booked the room weeks in advance. The hotel "hot tub" was a green horror. The inner hallways were dirty and poorly maintained. The room was reasonably clean, but poorly maintained and desperately in need of a carpet cleaning. The air conditioner was loud and rattled all night--I guess we should be thankful it worked. The tub didn't drain very well, so by the end of our showers we could have taken a bath. I have stayed in better Motel 6s. The breakfast was disappointing. The staff was friendly, but I probably will not ever stay here again.
"Needed to have extra staffing for holiday weekend"

We were looking forward to our stay at LaQuinta as we had not stayed in one for quite some time. Unfortunately, since management did not staff properly for the Memorial Day weekend, our anticipation and excitement did not last long. There was only one person on duty in the lobby area upon our arrival and there were numerous parties trying to check in. After checking in, we proceeded to our room. I was definitely happy with the room but then noticed that we only had 1 bath towel in the room. When I called to ask for housekeeping I was informed that they were already gone for the day and that the clerk on duty was by herself and could not bring any up to us and if I wanted, I could come downstairs to get one. I declined since it was already dark and we were on the 3rd floor. The next morning, we called once again and were informed that housekeeping did not come in until 9 a.m. I proceeded to go downstairs for coffee and at that time asked for a bath towel and was informed that they only had hand towels and we would have to wait for housekeeping. Housekeeping brought towels soon after arriving! Then I went downstairs again at 9 a.m. only to find that there was nothing and I mean nothing out for breakfast anymore. Since the manager had only staffed the lobby area with one person, she had to handle both front desk and breakfast area. She was able to find some more food and get it put out.
I will not stay at this hotel again and probably not any LaQuinta's if this is what is to be expected. The staff that was on duty on Monday morning, Latasha, was polite and apologetic for any problems that we encountered. I think that the Manager of this facility should get some more management training.
Best bed ever! Also, very courteous and professional staff - particularly in handling an oddly difficult customer. And.....did I happen to mention..... Best bed ever (found in any hotel or otherwise)!
I enjoyed my stay the lady that was at the front desk was very nice and she helped me with any problem i had i think her name was tabitha i will defefinantly recommend this hotel to my friends and family thank you for a comfy stay
